    Hi all,
    So I guess this is whats now my 10th build project or whatever, but here goes (again)

    After selling my Chaser and buying a cheap Honda Jazz to commute around in, my plan was to get saving for a Porsche...

    However, after carrying some wheels and tires over to Santa Pod for my good friends at Cutloose, the day of riding shotgun jolted me back into needing a rwd Japanese Car.

    55557222_10218157720564927_2348502187765661696_n.

    Soon sacked the Porsche idea off and began hunting for something else...

    I began speaking to another friend, who's other half has a 350z parked up, not being used due to her now having use of a company car.
    After a few talks, we agreed on a price and I'm set to pick her up this weekend.

    55914194_2424511384255261_8707886583065346048_n.
    56205113_2148912522087124_1960589000813051904_n.

    She's a 2006 GT Pack model and fitted with Tein Mono-Pro Coilovers, Tein EDFC, Scorpion Exhaust, Mishimoto Intake, Harness Bar and some Polybushes here and there.

    I doubt she'll ever be put on the road, but current plans are just to drive the sh*t out of it and learn as much as I can, upgrading things as we go.

    First batch of parts in already too, Tein Phone holder, HKB Boss, TRS 4pt Harness and Cusco Drift Knob.

    trs.

    Also waiting for a DeathTune Shift knob, Bonnet Pins and some quick release Bumper mounts.

    First 'To Do'' Jobs on the list;

    * Big Service
    * Clean/tidy up
    * Weld Diff
    * Fit Harness
    * Fit Nardi
    * Alignment
    * Get spare wheel/rubber

    Busy weekend shifting Cars about, collected the 3fiddy yesterday afternoon, just about got it on the transporter with how low it is, but she fits.
    13A56B00-E357-4F79-BE6A-2769C83C193D.
    Parked up n ready for some work,

    751479BE-A8F5-4A82-9EBF-37E7C7A79BE2.

    Lifestyle mods first off, as I dont have access to the lift at work just yet and I’m too old to be rolling around the floor n shit.

    Made a start at stripping the dash to replace the airbag clock spring. Last owner broke it I’m told, but had a new unit supplied.
    However, it was different, and didnt locate properly, so ended up making a good one out of the two,

    B46E9CD7-D55C-4BE7-AABA-93E45BB38832. 06BF3D04-A3A2-4575-924E-85AB6BEB75AB.
    3F098062-6767-4724-A9E8-91C2B6677BEB.

    Pain in the arse, but we got there in the end,

    33AF14AB-5520-46DE-AF1E-8E1BC860EF81.

    Had a massive interior cleaning session, fitted my Harness, and chucked the front lip back on that came with the car.

    I always had an itch for a tree fiddy so I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.

    The final nail in the coffin for me was the handful of them at Santa Pod the other week. Much prettier Car in person and sound great with an exhaust!

    Busy gathering bits and pieces to ready the Car for its first drift day.

    Picked up a set of stock 350z Wheels yesterday and got my Deathtune shifter fitted.

    Also got my Team Cutloose D1 Banner slapped on.

    Been a while since I have updated this one. Not done much, just crap lifestyle mods and suspension work.

    Chucked some Bonnet Pins on,

    56848099_10218272273028667_7841302009687834624_n.

    Overhauled the Mishimoto Intake and Heat Wrapped it,

    57227759_10218307651393104_5741020546192113664_n. 57775113_10218307653113147_67551984365862912_n. 57504474_10218307652233125_1949162132947861504_n. 57536387_10218307653553158_4882608105872949248_n.

    Got a pair of Japanese fake split Chromy Boiz from Japan,

    58377087_10218312462873388_709339721817391104_n.

    Also made a start at sorting the front suspension. Dropped the Coilovers another Inch, Polybushed the lower arm Bushes as they were trashed (literally fell out of the arm) and replaced the worn out links with some Whiteline adjustable links;

    Another busy weekend on the Car. Big push to get stuff done, so I can get booked on at a 3 Sisters beginner day...

    Front end is all rebuilt now, new lower Ball Joints and the Coil-overs lowered another 1.5"
    Treated the arch tubs to a clean and some Waxoyl and refitted the Arch liners.

    t9.

    Sits a lot better now the ride height is down,

    t1.
    t2.

    Now we have the front sitting low, I decided it was best to have the front bumper on a quick release. The Car is going to be transported on a recovery truck for the moment, until i can be bothered with driving it too and from any practice days. So, overnight parts from China...

    t3.
    t4.

    Seem to work pretty well...
    On to more important jobs now. Back end is up in the air for a few more Jobs.
    Adjusted handbrake as its none existent, lowered rear coil-overs an inch, removed the diff for welding and treated the rear tubs to a clean and Waxoyl.

    t7.
    t5.
    t6.
    t8.

    Not long now :)

    60767258_10218535330004927_4407061935221112832_n.

    Just gotta change the Bushes, quick coat of paint and sling it back in :)

    I know someone filled their viscous diff with Molten Lead and it locked it up really well hah.

    Yea, been a while since I rocked a welded diff, so already paranoid about it shitting its guts lol.

    Molten Lead?! Sketchy man, isn't lead really soft? lol

    Few jobs crossed off of the list recently..

    Diff is back in after a lick of paint,

    1.

    Bumper tuck done and Exhaust Polished up back to life,

    2.

    Took advantage of the Diff and Exhaust being off to throw down some Waxoyl.

    Painted up the Intake Plenum too in VHT Wrinkle paint...

    3. 4.

    Makes the Engine bay a little tidier. Was pretty much the only reason for me doing it...

    5.

    Pretty much all I have left now is a Gearbox Oil and Brake Fluid change to do, as well as throwing some more Waxoyl down on the floor pan/sills and we are ready.

    I also ordered up my first ever set of brand new 'Real Wheels' some Limited Edition Sakura Pink Rays 57CR's

    Apparently, these are the last set ever from Japan, so pretty chuffed to secure them :)

    PPP.

    18x9.5" ET12 up front and 18x10.5" ET12 on the rear. Both to be wrapped in some fresh Nankang NS2R Rubber.

    Should work well against the Black Paint i reckon :)

    Fraser Start from GFH also did the same to his 2JZ E46 M3 in BDC -
    I think, as long as the diff is hot to stop any moisture/air pockets etc, the lead doesn't give it anywhere to go.

    So i'm still waiting for the Rays to land, but new drift rubber has arrived from Nankang.
    Never ran new tyres before, almost seems wrong lol

    tyre.

    Also had my spare drift wheels powder coated. Not an exact colour match on the Rays, but they will do me just fine :)

    whee.
