s14 power upgrade

    hello, im thinking of getting an s14 s14a , i have been told that these run standard power at about the 200 hp mark, and can easily be modified to 260hp, what sort of mods would be needed to achieve this?? :nod:
    exhaust , filter, fmic? i dont want to spend £££ on ecu's and forged pistons and turbos,

    Exhaust - Air Filter - FMIC should get you around that figure - Add something like a power fc (well mapped) you should see over 300hp.

    ure guna need inectors for more than about 260-270 bhp

    did you have an fpr and up the pressure to 4bar to get 300?

    Fuel pump, FMIC, Air filter & Exhaust are whats required. You'll also need a boost controller of some sort either mechanical or electronic set at around 13.5psi will see you achieve 270bhp approx.

    Anything over that and you are going to need to add some sort of fuel computer, SAFC, E-Manage or similar. These will need setup properly.

    There is also some companies that sell ECU upgrade chips which offer either a generic map or for extra money can give you custom one.
