Rocket Bunny 6666 s13 sil80 The 34 is now gone so started full steam ahead on a new car for the 2009 season. After the 34 I wanted a smaller lighter and more manoverable car, searched for an old school shell i.e. 240Z but could not find a suitable one, either rotten or massive price so with time running out I opted for the ever popular S13 shell. Want to build a ground up car that will compete at all levels and be road legal so I can have fun fun fun between competitions . Found a shell here on where else, a good solid U.K. 200sx, a little rot in the rear end but nothing to worry about. Started mid Sept; work to date, The shell; {} Striped all the un wanted junk out {} {} Keeping the rear subframe {} Bare shell ready to be attacked {} Ready for tubbs {} {} Boot floor gone zoink {} Rear arches before {} And after ( sorry about the photo sizes, fugin useless with all things puter) {} pat pending on tubb bender {} Tubbs in {} {} {} Out to the yard for a bit of sand blasting (messy business) and were back to smaller pictures {} {} {} Whats the deal with s13's missing a chassis rail ? Fantastic, by 6666 I guess you mean like the nascar inspired ones we've all seen parked up at Jap petrol stations? I didn't see much of a problem with your car last year apart from the laaag, you should be a force to be reckoned with next year in this beasty. I'll still be rocking the same shitbox but hopefully it'll work properly
Nascar FTW !!! The 34 was great but it was built over 2 years whilst competeing and tbh at the start I didnt have a clue what "drifting" was all about so i just went for more and more powers hence ending up with a lag monster (until nitro) but nitro was not the answer. So trying to build the "ultimate" drift car from what I have learnt from all you guys and track time. Mikey you dont need a better car as you have the skills, I need any advantage I can build plus I do enjoy building cars with a purpose. RESHPECt
jeeeeez scotty lad you dont hang around do you boy! Nice work m8, you do the cage yourself yea? Pm your way dude!
bstard now you tell me lol, get yerself up north to help with this between your mega mega projects, on second thoughts dont as it needs to be finished before the end of the year But seriously any input is welcome
