Hi all Thinking about buying a 1989 Mitsubishi Sapporo 2.4 and have no idea what mods are available to make it drift worthy or if it's even worth me buying it. Not going to view till Sunday so any comments you guys can give me would be a great help Thanks Leon
If it's RWD then it'll drift. Not necessarily well but enough for you to get going. If Google doesn't respond with any off the shelf stuff for it then the best thing will probably be the usual Trampdrift route; weld the diff, cut the springs, fit a bucket chair, drift it 'till something goes pop, fix it, do it again etc.
There's always the option of fitting the Galant VR4 2 litre 16v tubbie lump Pretty similar engine to the evo, but mounted the right way round lol
How hard would it be to fit the VR4? if it's not a stupidly big job (as in RB26 into Micra) Then I'll go and buy a crash damaged VR4 and let the modifications commence lol
