hi guys, i recently did a full weld in cage for DR1FTER in his soarer which should be running in the 2009 bdc. look in the project section for pics under bdc soarer cage pics.
i am in the process of setting up my own company specialsing in motorsport fabrication. the main thing i am going to concentrate on is rollcage manufacture. i have seen it is pretty hard to get cages for a lot of the cars u guys run, and especially to get cages to the right spec. i want to solve this problem by getting as many applications for drift specific cars developed and manfactured and on my shelf ready for u guys to buy at a great price. i will also be able to offer any fabrication work u may need.
i have been a welder/fabricator for a world reknowned motorsport fabrication company for the last 6 years, building cages for many famous cars and drivers. i thought i would post up a few pics of my work that i do. this includes full bodyshell preperation.
if people r interested then to get as many applications in my range asap i will offer the first customer of each specific car a fully fitted cage with all the footplates properly welded into the car and the cage fitted for an awsome one off price. once i then have the first cage for that car i can then make jigs from that and reproduce it over and over. i will be able to not only send cages via courier all over the world but also fit any cage if needed, and also custom fabricate any cage for any vehicle. including full weld in cages. bolt in cages will either be in stock or ready for dispatch quickly. depending on demand for each application.
hopefully this will then mean any1 needing a cage for there drift car i will have one on the shelf, ready to go, with full edc/bdc spec. the cages will be powdercoated.
take a look at my pics and any1 interested in being part of a one off deal if they have a donor car for me to build the first cage in pm me. also any1 else interested pm me.
    cheers for looking guys,
    cage1.

yeah already been asked bout an arb for an s14 with jz engine. should not be a problem. at the min i can only do tubular arbs, but soon as i have the dosh to buy the tooling to do solid bars i will be able to do any arb any1 requires.

thanks for all the comments guys, my workshop is located near horsham west sussex/surrey border. like i say, the first cages for each application will be super cheap to get cages in stock, and from then on i will have to work out a price once 1 cage is complete, but rest assured i will be competitive with fabricage etc. once a cage has been done for say an s13 i can then give prices for future cages.
tommahawk, if your interested then lets do it lol. pm me. s13/s14 cage will prob be one of the first to be developed due to the high demand for them. already have a few people interested in 200sx cages so would be good to get 1 done.

you will need to decided if your going to make cages to fit around stock interior or without.

Alot of people run stock interior around cages i've found, hence why fabricages cages and other brands sit so fecking far away from the shell.. to take into account for the interior.

I'm running in BDC next yeah and i'll be running with full interior ect.

    clarkey.

thats a good point mate, as really to be able to get prices to the low prices people want to pay, i will be making cages in batches, so once the pattern cage is done the batches will match. u cant use dash dodgers in bdc tho can u. i am used to havng to work around interiors anyway as i do a lot of historic stuff which people like to keep original. but if people r running a car with no interior and the cages r done to a car with interior then yeah the cage will look poo as it will sit in a mile from the shell. for people running in bdc surely they wont run with interior would they. maybe will have to think about doing a cage for interior/no interior applications.

Kinky fucker! I think I spurted in my pants looking at all that fab work. If I didn't already have a gangster cage from ChizFab.com I'd be begging at your virtual internet PM inbox door right now to help a brother out.
