    Hi all

Just wondering what these are like for skidding?

    787052-2.

Heard good things from the people i know that have them as daily's but they're not into drifting :euge:

So was just trying to get opinions off people that have been skidding them

And my other questions are do they have alot of aftermarket parts for them and do any of the later RX7 parts fit them?

    Thanks

they are very grippy from what i have heard. Lil ben and beezy are the only ones i knwo who really actually drift theres so maybe best to ask them .. I think they also give the illusion of big angle as u sit pretty far back which isnt an issue.

They are fun to drift, issue is water seals and weather the oil has been changed / topped up regular... standerd EGI's are open diffed but a mig welder can cure that

if you want a RX to drift then the EGI is the best bet, not a lot of power but loves the abuse,

Fuel is a major issue with them as well... my 86 EGI gets 18mpg driving like a granny and 14mpg (or less) driving like a loon

90% of Turbo 2 parts fit the EGI main thing would be the suspension wich evean swapping EGI for Turbo 2 would make it harder, fitting a electrionic fuel pump cut off would be a good mod as well as they tend to flood... straight through exaust and pepole thing your shooting a shotgun at them at 6krpm changes.

If you manage to get a job and get it check for rust were the firewall meets the floor, in the boot behind the rear carpet (between the lights theirs a huge pocket that can fill with water).

if its not too far from here i could come down have a look for you if you want
