Started putting a rover v8 in this(also for sale as a conversion package) but Ive got too many customer cars booked in for work I don't think I'll ever get this done so it is up for sale without engine, box and rear shocks(cortina are the same) everything else is there. MOT : October 2012 Tax : None(will be cashed in) History : Lots of it, old newspaper clippings from old ads, MOTs receipts etc. I am only the second owner from new Mileage : 61000(genuine) Ziebarted from new. Engine & Drive train: No engine but will come with radiator all wiring loom, front crossmember, prop, rear axle etc. You could literally drop a standard engine and box straight back in it! Or its prime for a nice DOHC conversion! starion engine? Evo Engine? 200sx turbo engine? Rear shocks have been removed but they were avo's from a mk5 cortina so any standard or aftermarket mk4 or mk5 cortina shocks will fit Wheels & Tyres: Will !NOT! come on the SSR's(available separately) it will come on the standard 13" steel wheels with good tyres Bodywork: - In great condition for a 34 year old car got the odd scab here and there but its more character than ruining the look, no holes through and no rot! - Ziebarted from new and still heavily covered underneath and engine bay which has preserved it greatly! - Unfortunately the drivers side front window is perspex as the glass one was broken but it does not look out of place and works as normal. New one can be sourced from Australia. - Awesome awesome bronze colour! Interior: - As it rolled out the factory and is beyond mint it is PERFECT! It is an awesome awesome car which commands massive respect and huge amounts of attention. Even though its rare all parts can be sourced very very easily and cheaply from australian eBay along with a big following and fan support out there. To be fair I haven't had any problem sourcing parts over here as it is an original UK car its not an import. It got massive attention at the retro show and is in this months retro cars mag. Would be easy to make something mega out of it!
