Just found a holset for sale but dont know what model it is. Anyone help me out with this. TURBOCHARGER PART # 3531667 TURBOCHARGER MODEL # OIL COOLED: WEIGHT: 21 CONDITION: USED COMPRESSOR WHEEL DIAMETER: 56MM EXHAUST WHEEL DIAMETER: 60MM EXHAUST AR: 16 DOES SHAFT TURN? YES IS THE SHAFT BROKEN? NO DOES SHAFT HAVE SIDE TO SIDE PLAY? NO DOES SHAFT HAVE IN AND OUT PLAY? NO DO FANS HAVE ANY DAMAGE? NO DO HOUSINGS HAVE ANY DAMAGE? NO APPLICATION:
8 blade HX35 I expect. EDIT! Nope, older version, the H1C, the bigger version of the H1C to be exact. Usually looks like its ported shroud HX35, but the holes are not actually there if you look in the webbing. What they mean is 56mm compressor inducer, 56mm compressor overall would be terrible. 16cm housing, fairly big, 12 is enough to max that compressor out on most normal size engines. Ok turbo if it well cheap, would do 500bhp.
H1C-8274BK/E16DA11 originally used for 175HP 5.9L 6 cylinder B series Cummins but stav's info is probably more relevant
If its in good nick, at that money, SHIPPED, its good as long as the turbo isnt fucked. Pics would tell a much better story though, just as a turbo has no play doesnt mean it not shagged. Its a 500bhp at high boost type of turbo, being an 8 blade HX35 style blade, so 450@wheels should be do-able with the right amount of boost. If it was a 7 blade HX35 or just a bigger turbo it would do 600bhp or more.
What sort of power would a t04b with a compressor a/r of 0.6 make. The exhaust housing looks the same size as the h1c.
Compressor a/r means nothing at all, and T04B just signifies comp inlet and outlet sizes really. Need to know wheel size, esp inducer. Would be less than that Holset anyhow.
