Hi, very nice car, allways loved 2dr KE70 wagons, and with oo=oo, pure awesomeness!!! Very good fab skills If I look at the door that had lots of rust, how did you weld such a big piece in there without getting heat warpage? And the way you fitted those twin head lights to a slant front KE70 is impressive. It´s kinda tricky with the pre faclift but quoted almost impossible with facelift KE70! But you´ll need crome bumpers!
thanks dude when i done the door i just tacked in the piece i wanted them weld it all up takeing my time so i dont let it get steel getr to hot and warp it took me time to fab up the front for the quad lights all right as i was told it couldnt be done but as you can see it can be and i have bran new crome bumpers for it too so happy days thanks for the nice comments
real nice car and serious effort going into it... but.. those 'wing' mirrors are awful, i would fire them in a skip
To be honest im not a big fan of these cars but you have just made me love a car i wouldnt look twice at and with your amazing fab skills it makes me want to grab a welder and find a rotted car keep uo the good work.
thanks dude and your dead right about the mirrors im looking for the crome bullet style fender mirrors if any one no of any for sale
a little update have the back panel just sorted all cut out and replaced with fresh metal just have to make the strip for the boot rubber to fit on and thats the welding finished thank fuck so getting there now hopeing to get it into primer
