Easy Guys, (Pics at the bottom if your impatient lol) Basically I have gotten into professional karting and need to move out my parent's home so my beloved Z has to go. It's an amazing and very very rare car! It's a 2-seater short-wheel base(SWB) which makes 1 of 2 in the country. The other is a slicktop which I sold to a friend. The Z31 2-seater SWB was only sold in Japan and North America, everywhere else got the horrid 2+2 models, this was imported from Florida, so no rust, nice and solid! It's GLL Spec, so its top of the range model which is packed with goodies like electric seats, mirrors, climate control, cruise control etc. Basic Spec: - 3.0 Litre V6 Turbo SOHC 12v (VG30ET) rated at 240bhp stock - Auto Transmission but comes with 5 Speed Borg Warner T5 box and Centerforce II clutch (read below) - GLL Spec (top of the range) - 140k on the clock, did only 2k a year since ownership, runs brilliant! - Tax - May 2012 - MOT - November 2012 Interior: - Electric seats with electrically adjustable bolsters/lumbar/back/thigh etc etc - Electric mirrors with de-fogger - Electric windows - Climate control - Central locking - OMP Dished wheel - D1 Spec Carbon quick release boss (genuine!) - Autogauge boost gauge fitted for accurate boost reading, stock gauge also fitted. - Alpine Headunit - Alpine Type R Components fitted in stock location - Alpine MRV Amp hidden away in the back - JL Audio 13" Sub - Parrot kit installed with bluetooth connectivity (basically turns your car into a mobile phone) Sound system is pretty awesome, I fitted it to enjoy sound and music quality (not for listening to LiL Wayne lol) Chassis: - Gaz Engineering Coilovers (Custom made specifically for this car) - Gaz Engineering Custom Camber/Caster top mounts - Gaz Engineering Helper springs (to meet MOT requirement) - R200 Clutch-LSD w/electronic lock up. - Rear coilovers bump/rebound adjustable - Sumitomo R32 GTR Calipers + 296x32 R32 GTR disks + HEL brake lines (not fitted but all ready to fit) - SSR Professor 17x9 + 10j very dishy! - D1 Spec lightweight racing wheel nuts in blue (were quite pricey!) - 20mm hubcentric spacers up front - 235/40/17 Maxxis fronts - Continental ContactSport 2 rears (front and rear tyres all brilliant) Exterior: - Kaminari Aerodynamic front lip (broken but repaired, can get a replacement one) - TBO 200ZR Front lip (Brand new, never fitted) - De-spoilered (was going to fit a UK plastic spoiler but de-spoilered looks nice) Engine: - Stock un-molested engine - Cambelt and hydraulic lifters done approx 5k ago - T25 Turbo (looks like it was re-conditioned before I got the car w/ new silicone pipes) - Open-cone filter (un-branded) - HKS SSQV3 (not sure if genuine, but the charge pipe had to be customised for it to fit) - Engine has been de-emissionised, all american emission rubbish been removed, including all exhaust re-circulation valves and EGR valves, took me 3 days, now the car runs brilliantly! - Mocal/Kenlo oil cooler fitted professionally - One-Piece Prop shaft (lightweight and to eliminate play in the shaft) - Brand new exhaust fitted, ordered from Nissan-Japan (comes with Shot-gun exhaust pipe too) - 3" Decat - Air-con removed - New battery Doing what I did in the engine bay has cleared up alot of mess, and has made reasonable amount of space in the engine bay, making it easy to work on the car. Bad Bits: - All cars have it, especially old ones, the paint really lets the car down, needs a good polish and respray on the front bumper, bonnet and respray will improve the car loads! but polishes up nicely. some touch ups here and there if you're fussy - Auto gearbox works fine but to turn the overdrive OFF is a little temperamental, but before starting the car you can put overdrive ON or OFF and it works fine in whatever selection is picked, only when it's being driven it can sometime be temperamental, this can be solved by adjusting the Overdrive band servo, I havent had the time to do it myself, I rebuilt the Overdrive servo housing and freshened it up and forgot to adjust the band, it's really easy, 3 nuts to remove the cover and then adjust the band via turning the nut. - rear quarter window seals have seen better days, looks like Florida heat has taken it's toll on it, there is no water leaks or anything, I never bothered replacing them because you can only see them from inside, its un-noticeable from outside. - Could do with undersealing, However I have painted all the chassis where I felt it needed, but it was paint, so underseal should be better protection. Extra Bits n' Stuff: - 5 Speed Borg Warner T5 Manual Gearbox(model specific to this car) - Centerforce II clutch (brand new) - Car comes with full set of original wheels with tyres (very good condition) - Comes with whatever I have removed from the car i.e original steering wheel etc. - Extra pair of Gaz Engineering front springs with different poundage, whatever suits you. - Extra pair of Continental 245/40/17 with 6-7mm tread these are £195 each! - Extra front splitter - TBO 200ZR style £150 on it's own - Shotgun exhaust which was custom made for the car, but removed now and replaced with brand new genuine box, the shot gun exhaust pipe can go with the car. There is probably stuff I forgot to mention, but all-in-all its a cracking car and would be amazing with the manual conversion, even though its pretty awesome as it is. I have spent alot more than the asking price, It's a rare car and has alot more potential, a simple boost controller will see you 300bhp easy. You won't find another one these, plus this is a GLL spec and last of the line, which makes it better equipped, I must have spent 1000's alone in Chassis work, coilovers etc are not available for this car, all had to be custom made!. Price: £5,495 ovno - I will take PX for something interesting as a daily or an old American pick-up. Located in Leicestershire. I can remove bits and bobs to make the car more affordable i.e wheels, steering wheel etc. DSC_03060001 by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr securedownload by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr 5660910038_b4efc26ec6_b by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr 5665145560_fa865bab3b_b by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr 301594_10150360161739160_516489159_8481388_1584800010_n by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr
cheers mate. as of today it now has a brand new Exide Premium battery with 3 year warranty, took the car out for a blast and it's amazing to drive! would be looking at £2,600 for the car with the custom made coilovers and custom camber/caster top mounts, the suspension setup alone is worth over 1k and will sell seperatley as you all know how sought after coilover system is for this car, will come with extra pair springs with different poundage to suit the driver, the car will go low as you wish and still maintain travel, comes with front Kaminari splitter and Alpine Type R components and brand new exhaust fitted ordered from Japan via MJP and will also come with the shotgun exhaust I removed which custom made to work with this car, car will come on it's original wheels with very good tyres and 20mm spacers up front, I will remove the headunit, subwoofer, wheels and OMP steering wheel.... so £2,600 for that option if anyone wants to get more info on the car can speak to Mike at MJP, he has helped me loads in regards to supplying parts etc. the wiring for the headunit was converted to an ISO like modern cars, so no messy business, plug and play with your headunit. I can also sort out the 5 speed Borg Warner T5 gearbox with brand new Centerforce II clutch in that price
cheers mate on ebay classified too eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace I will part it out if I have to, so the wheels, coilovers etc etc would be up for grab Ideally want the car to go first before I part out the bits.
Gonna part it out soon if not sold... The super dishy SSR Profs will be for sale along with R32 GTR brake kit etc etc! Need something more practical, doesnt have to be good on MPG but needs to be a bit spacious, so PX is a big option!
