Think its time to sell my beloved Z and move onto other cars I have on my wishlist. I can safely say this a very rare model, infact 1 of 2 in the country and only 1 to be USDM(United States Domestic Model) its a 1988 Nissan 300zx (Z31) Turbo SWB (2 Seater) people who know about Z Cars know that Z31's were never sold in a SWB 2 Seater platform in UK or Europe, it was only sold in Japan and North America, therefore this a Florida Import. After decoding the VIN, I discovered its a GLL model which was top of the line model with all the gadgets, I'm not surprised as it is fully loaded and therefore the reason why I tried to keep the interior intact as much as possible, its too nice to strip it out etc. I bought the car almost 2 years ago from a Z Specialist (MJP Eastern Autos), this car was never listed in classified and was purely bought after I chased around people on forums and searching for this till I was contacted by MJP informing he has one in his garden gathering cob webs. This Z is the last of the line so its has the most to offer than other models, in 1989 Z32 replaced the Z31. Basic Spec: - 1988 Nissan 300zx (Z31) Turbo - 3.0 Litre V6 Turbo (VG30ET) - Auto Transmission W/ switchable Overdrive (If overdrive is switched off the car goes a bit mental, especially in wet) - 138k mileage (dont let the mileage put you off, the car runs as it should, no knocking etc etc, car has been maintained well!) GLL Model Spec: - Electric de-fogger mirrors - Electric windows - Cruise Control - Digi Climate Control - Electronically adjustable dampers from inside the car - Electronically Adjustable Seats - Electronically Adjustable Bolsters/Lumbar/Back Support (Driverside only) - Aircon (need repumping or somethin') - Courtesy Interior Lights (if you flick the door handle the floor lights will come on and a green light will switch on just above the keyhole so you know where to put the key in when its dark) - Factory Alarm - R200 Differential (RC35) it locks up in final gear (manual said so...) all of the stuff mentioned above works as it should, except the electronically adjustable dampers because I installed coilovers so the stuff was removed, can fit it back on if want (mission and a half) Engine / Driveline Modifications: - Open cone air filer (dont know what brand) - 3" De-cat (car doesnt require a cat for MOT, no stress) - 2.5" pipe off the turbo elbow right out to the back, no back box, no middle box (yep its loud, you'll hear the turbo whistle, you'll have people saying its a V8, you'll make children cry) - Mocal Oil Cooler (not sure if its Mocal or Kenlow) - One piece custom made propshaft(driveshaft) this elimnated a slight delay between the engaging of the transmission to the differential, it can handle more power too. - Speed limiter disabled, according to other Z owners it should now top out at 155mph if you're brave Apart from above no other mods, never needed much modifications, car is pretty quick for what it is, standard Garrett T25 Turbo etc etc. Turbo doesnt smoke, engine and tranny works as it should, transmission although is auto but can be very fun, it changes gears as it should nice and smoothly, overdrive engages once gearbox has warmed up a bit, for auto newbies: overdrive switched on means it changes gear economically like how you would drive day to day, overdrive switched off and it will change gears once each gear has reached its peak, if your on the motorway doin 70 and you switch the overdrive off the car will drop a gear and rev will fire up etc etc, you can get a boost controller on it which is relatively easy to fit without trouble and with standard T25 wouldnt recommend more than 10psi but some people have ran thier T25 upto 1bar. When car came from Florida, MJP did alot of work on it, its had new cambelt, new lifters etc etc fitted, serviced etc etc, I service it too regularly when required. Chassis Modifications: - Gaz Coilovers (these were custom made by Gaz specifically for this car using existing Nissan struts because coilovers for this car are not available) - Rear Coilovers are damping adjustable by Gaz. - SSR Professors 17x9j Fronts / 17x10j Rears (awesomely dishy) - 20mm Bolt-on hubcentric spacers up front - 235/40/17 Tyres fronts / 245/40/17 Tyres rears (front are virtually new Maxxis, rears are at 2.5mm-ish Michelin Pilots) I'll replace the rears probably depending on use. - 4 Pot Sumitomo R32 GTR Calipers W/ R32 GTR discs 296x32mm (not fitted but will be in the next few days) Bodywork/Cosmetic/Interior Stuff: - Kaminari Aerodynamics front spoiler - OMP Style dished steering wheel - Headlight down mod (you can switch your headlights on whilst the headlights not popping up, you can pop them up using the manual overide switch) - Alpine Headunit - Alpine Type R Components - Alpine MRV 2-Channel Amp hidden away in the spare wheel compartment - 10" JL Audio W3 Sub in the back. - Parrot kit installed (this is not for a bird or somethin', it basically turns your car into a mobile phone, has voice recognition to call people and does this all wireless so youe phone could be in your pocket, has USB, Input/Output jack and iPhone lead so basically its awesome(not much helpful as the car is really loud I suppose) Bad Bits: This car is not comfortable to drive, because the suspension is set so low it is very stiff, its comfy on motorways etc etc but wouldnt recommend driving the motorway in rain... you've been warned!, raise it up or change the suspension geometry if you want it comfy etc etc, low as it is I want it to go lower cause the clearance under the car is amazing, the car can go so much lower! all the engine/drivetrain components are tucked in its belly. Front bumper is a bit damaged on the driver side it could do with a repray along with the bonnet which just looks a bit....sh*t (polishes up fine) Rest of the bodywork is fine, there is no rust, major dents etc, I did have a repray in plan for the car as its still same old paint from factory. there are bits around the car that could do with touchups etc etc you can expect this from a car this old. there are couple of dents on the chassis rail which I will get it sorted and welded, could do with undersealing the car, again its something I will sort out if time allows. if the car is not being driven for ages, I occassionally find a few drops of oil on the floor, this never concerened me, I always kept the oil topped up as I keep maintaining it. there used have a transmission leak from the valve, once the bolts were tightened I havent ever noticed it again, all these bits are worth mentioning. rear quarter window seals from inside looks like could do with a change as they are warped to death by Florida heat, this is only noticeable from inside the car, Nissan still does all the parts for this car and I mean ALL the parts for this car, all the replacements bits I have used on the car etc etc have all come from Nissan dealership. More Boring Stuff: This car looks like a drift car but was never drifted professionally at Drift days etc, I wanted it to be a drift car but because the interior was so nice and the car is so rare, stripping it and making it too crazy would be like doodling over the potrait on Mona Lisa cause you couldnt bother looking for a piece of paper. The price reflects the rarity of the car and modifications that has been done and all the OEM bits it will come with, I love this car very much so I am not hugely bothered if it doesnt go, but I do want to expieriance other cars on my wishlist, so if anyone wants to bring up a PX etc, i'm listening, very tempted for a R32 GTR, Z32 SWB Turbo/Manual, show me what ya got!, if you have an oldskool car then I wanna know about it I can swing cash on top if you catch me before or after my pay day depending on the car and value the car will also come with lots of parts, all the OEM parts I removed off it will go with the car including original steering wheel with cruise control operation switches, tokico dampers and springs, interior bits and bobs, also will come with original 16" Z Turbine wheels with brand new 4 tyres. it will also come with all the import papers and all the history its had with me, reciepts etc. The price can be cheaper if I remove bits of the car like the wheels etc, also it can be a bit cheaper if I sell it with the Genuine BBS LM's (17X9 + 10j) but would require buying new spacers and tyres for them. Price: £5,950 (price is negotiable) I will listen to reasonable offers on price and PX's. The car will probably be at JapFest Castle Coombe, so if anyone is interested just walk over to the Z-Club/300zx club stand.

Yeah still have the LM's, and yeah they can be sold with the car, would need tyres and spacers, car can be driven away with standard wheels, can take LM's with you and sort em in your own time if you want
I've just put this link on the 'zed' forums, you never know somebody on there might be looking for a sweet Z31
What a lovely zed strangely enough i just had someone on the zed forum talking about this ^^^^^^^^^. Ill see you at Japfest
Does that really matter? There are enough pictures in there that you can see what the car looks like.
Thanks for the comments guys, I had a few people wanting to view the car at Japfest, unfortunatley I was called into work so didnt make it down, I should attend other shows, for the time being it can be viewed in Leicester.
