Selling my FC RX7 soon, posting it on here before a lot of places as would prefer it to go to a enthusiast or someone who will look after it!

    1990 Mazda RX7 FC3S Turbo II S5 in White
Just below 78,000 miles. Around 9 or 10 months MOT (Will double check when I dig out the certificate!)
99-116 FC's left on the road so getting rare now! 4 Models, 7 different colours, 3-5 left in white maybe?!
It's near enough standard, the only changes are an aftermarket air filter which was fitted before I got it as well as a powerflow exhaust. Not too loud or much bigger then the standard ones!

Interior is all standard, even down to the original tape player(!) except for the steering wheel, not my cup of tea but didn't bother me too much. Some random aftermarket one which is red and black, again fitted before I got it. The monkey that fitted it has also buggered up the standard surround for the column, may bother the picky person! The drivers seat has a tare in the bolster so a seat cover is on it. As you guessed, from before! I have just left the cover on and it doesn't bother me! If you want to be picky the little cover covering the screws for the interior light has fallen off but I still have it. The interior light has gone, probably just a bulb! The rear wiper and sunroof don't work but I haven't looked at these.

Exterior, all standard. Standard wheels with good tyres, all the S5 trims. The paintwork has seen better days and would benefit from a full respray, or you could just do the parts that look bad. I hate the bonnet because a chip has slowly become a large patch of paint missing, been quoted £120 to get it resprayed. The front bumper has some lacquer peal as well as little bits on the front arches. The offside headlight cover is a aftermarket one with a vent, fitted by a previous owner, looks like its been sprayed with a air can so the match and finish isn't the best. The nearside side skirt has started to come off this last week, the trim clips are buggered so it would be best to bond this back on, I can do it or let you do it as you see fit.

Engine is all standard except for the air filter. The A/C belt has been removed, the A/C doesn't work so I look it off as it seemed a little pointless running the A/C pump for no reason! The engine is starting to show signs of the tips going, it starts 2nd or 3rd time rather then first but has never not started if thats makes sense? 200hp of which I'm sure most of it is still there, pulls lovely right through the rev range, sounds lovely. The turbo spools fine as the twin scroll keeps it going for ages. I service it as close to 3,000 miles or 4 months as I can, this is coming up soon. The coolant could do with changing a few times to flush it out and clean it up, I've changed it 3 times in a year and a half but the dirty parts just make the coolant dirty again, hence the flush. The level buzzer also seems to have a mind of it's own which a few people have had problems with, just make sure you check the fluids regularly like with any rotary! It has a battery cover which is rare! Haha. The front pads are Green Stuff which are a little better then usual but nothing to be shouting about too much!

    The reg is also 'HAHA'!

Overall I would say it's a usable project. I love this car and don't want to see it go but money problems mean it has to go. I would like the new owner to promise me when they sell it on that they offer it to me first!!! The fact my computer crashed after writing all this and I lost it all is making me think I'm making a bad decision!

More then happy for people to come to Swansea and view. I can take you out for a drive but no test drivers, sorry people in the past have ruined this!!!

There is probably stuff I have forgotten but can't think of it at the moment! Sorry the photos are all previous photos that I have of the car, I will take some when I'm hope when it's not dark and I get a chance to clean it!

Although the car is sought after and desirable in white, its got a rebuild lurking over its shoulder and paint to fix nevertheless I would be interested in buying if the price is right

If its still for sale I would be saying around £1600 mark and to the guy above ive just spent upwards of 12k on my own car...cheap isnt a word I would use to describe myself lol. I respect that youve been honest in the description and I can only go off what they're selling for and work needed to bring it back to well running order a call to atkins rotary will soon take you over 1k just in parts forget about labour where are you located?

What he said. For a basic rebuild, new seals etc your going to be looking at a minimum of £1,700 to £2,000 at a decent rotary rebuilder. The seller has been genuinely honest, and its a proper, well put together advert (which you dont always see on here...!) so fair flay for that. A £1,500 - £2,000 asking price is a good reasonable start, then once you build in a rebuild price youll have a really nice car thatl last....
    Glwts.
