Here is some more pics, Id just like to ad For people as picky as me, The driver recaro has one or two slight slits, not bad and easily repaired The dash has a small crack ( was told by sun damage but I believe its from a previous boost gauge) Steering pump has a slight whine. Thats it though, very small things and only if fussy like myself. some more pics
Seats are in it from factory. When it came in it had another recaro in driver seat but the original came with it too. I have a viewer coming Saturday. seems very genuine and really interested.
OKAY but there are 3 types of these as far as I am aware there is the JZA70 supra ,JZA70GT limited and the JZA70R the R MODEL comes with recaro trim ,momo steering wheel ,bilistein suspension torsen diff fitted from the factory IF YOU HAVE AN GENUINE R MODEL THEN THAT IS A VERY GOOD PRICE FOR THE CAR
I have had datsuns most of my driving life lol. So not 100% sure to be very honest? How would I find out? I can't check suspension as it's tein coilovers now. there is a really good diff in it from factory I was told though not sure what model? It also has the momo wheel see the second post with pics. says twin turbo r on rear too. So maybe? But then again maybe not? I'm not 100% sure to be honest.
Hi mate I would say that is almost certainly an R model its has the Recaro interior and the Momo steering wheel also the badge on the back, has it got a Momo gear knob??? as I believe it should have one of them , it should also have larger diameter sway bars and the front lip should have ducts for the brakes Awesome car if I had the money I wouldn't hesitate to buy it
I'll go on there and have a post and see can I get some further info. Car is in storage in a friends garage. So I can't tell you for certain if the gearknob is momo but I think it is too. also it 100% has the air ducts in the front lip. If you have a close look at some the pics you will see. really cool info though hopefully it is a r spec I'd imagine it genuinely is as seems to have all the above. also only 109kms on her and condition is something else. Cleanest car ive had and I've had some big spec cars
So I looked into it. got onto a supra head here in Ireland. Works on supras and is mechanic. He said car is 100% a r spec. He worked on the car about 1 year ago and said it is definetly a r spec supra. Im gonna keep it now, a change of heart. I was originally selling to buy a r33 gtr which came up but I've bought a jzx100 chaser now as well so just gonna go with the flow.
awesome mate very rare cars I thought it was the r spec but difficult to tell with out actually seeing the car,when I have got the funds I am going to get one as I used to have the uk mk3 with the 7mgte and I loved it apart from the shit engine .
Yeah so I'm hearing now lol. Didn't know before that. you going to import one from Japan? There isn't much over here in Ireland anyway. But I think there's a good few in uk but probably mostly the 7mgte? Previous owner worked in a audi main dealer and his friend worked in toyota. He got his friend to type in my vin into the toyota computer this is what it brought up. It's a r spec alright
Yeh I will probably import from japan as you cant get them in the uk really as they are very rare Good investment really as I think they will go up in money as they are getting hard to find even in Japan
