Regretfully for sale, my 1979 Toyota Carina 97,000 miles MoT January 2010, tax October 2009 2T-B 1600 engine, 4 speed manual gearbox Originally bought in December last year from a member on here as a virtually standard car, for a winter project to keep me amused over the winter before I could start on my house build. I've kept it through the summer as it's just literally the most fun ever, and I've become quite attached to it. I'm only selling it as I've just bought a pit bike so I need a van. Interior - stripped, standard front seats re-fitted with a pair of red 3 point Sparco harnesses. Exterior - almost fully dechromed and resprayed in cream with matt black plastics, bonnet pins 13” Slotmag wheels, with brand new 165/65 Falken tyres. 2 coils chopped out of front and rear springs Also 14” std AE86 wheels with 2 new / 2 used tyres. And a matt black ducktail rear spoiler from a mk2 Escort. These are NOT included in the price, and will be for sale seperately unless you make me an offer. As a guide, I paid £50 for the rims and £100 for the spoiler Bad points: Rear OUTER arches. Passed MoT but only just. Two Corolla rear arches (metal), which look a good fit, are included in the price. Front passenger side wing is a bit bashed up and rusty at the bottom. Good points: Everything works bar the interior light, strong and surprisingly torquey engine, starts first time every time, predominantly rust-free chassis, cool pimp retro looks, passed last MoT needing only a few minor things, NO welding. A 4AGE engine will pretty much bolt straight in. It's a reliable, practical, but mainly awesome fun car I would like £600. Due to it's awesomeness I wont accept much less, but make me an offer It also comes with 3 steelies with tyres, and a spare Slotmag (no tyre on that), some brand new wheel bearings in their boxes, and the KE70 metal arches. Long shot but you want to swap for a clean for the year 1995 Subaru Impreza GL 1.8 with only 70K odd miles?
No mate it's a sedan...but really good conditon for age with loads of tax and test, new clutch and rear exhaust. Drives like new and is surprisingly grunty.
It would have to be a Wagon, as the only reason I'm selling this is to buy something I can get my new pit bike into
