Its not really a stupid question, although I have not been here as long as some of you but I still feel quite strongly about the way things are flowing on this forum, I use driftworks as an online guide to drifting, a place were I can find parts, cars, technical tips, details on up and coming drift days. I want to be able to participate in adult conversations about drifting. But as time goes by there is less and less for me to read, there is an increasing number of wasted threads been generated through out the forum by Keyboard drifters. Its not my place to mention this and I expect a huge whoopin from some of you guys for posting this, but this thread could be used as a guide to who is the real deal and who is not. I know that the only evidence is to meet in person and see real drivers in action, driftworks issue drivers tabs to proven drivers but for some of us we rarely get out much because of work, in between cars or are not driving in the right places. But I for one would like to know who is who, and more importantly who I will except comments from, as there are to many guys on here with saxo,s parked in their driveways doing 5 min research via google and then making smart comment on this forum. What do you drive...? I drive a PS13 at the moment. I got this car from Harry a few weeks back, I did a touge event in it last week just to check it out, needs a little tlc on the cosmetics and a few bits here and there. But a good little skid car. I should be out and about more in the new year so I will meet some of you then A little window shot. {}

Am completely n00b to drifting...just bought a boggo standard 328i to get started in... {} On the look out for a mig welder so I can weld sills for MOT, then weld the diff, then I can get sideways
Yep well I am nobody special and no hero, thats a big fact. Just plainly want to know who I am chatting with, who is talking shit who to except abuse from...? Bla Bla Bla. Plus we get to see who has the nicest car
I agree with this but I'm not old enough to drive on the road yet, therefore im a Keyboard drifter, i drift alot on LFS and Forza 2, the closest i can get at the minute.
i know exactly what your saying, i remember a year or so ago i asked a fue questions about driving tec and whatever else i was asking at that time and the same person cept giving me advise and it didnt sound quite right then a week later in the this is me thread he put a pic up of himself and he was like 12 at the most lol

i use this site for information on drifting but mainly to pass hours of boredom when i was at uni, i drift infrequently and relatively badly but when i do i grin like an idiot for months after i drive an mx5 {}
i'm in the clear if you exclude this: {} ... not to be trusted with boost controllers lol curently trying to finish my RX on a stupidly tight budjet...
Well the only real experience ive had of drifting for myself was a drift day with drift racing, it was amazing. This is the first time i linked a figure of 8 Login | Facebook Been trying to build an FC drifter with a mate but there's just been problem after problem and lack of time to work on it means its gone no where really. pic of the FC, Welded diff FTW {}
Competed in this {} and this {} But this year i have mainly been driving this: {} and this {} Am i clear to keep chatting rubbish on the internet then? But im currently in the middle of rebuilding this for next year with a very cool engine and a fair few other trick bits. {}
why does this seem to like a `blow your own trumpet` thread? im sure there are many people out there that dont drift but may also know their stuff. i.e people in other forms of motorsport i think most questions have been covered and its just a case of using the search button correctly to find information. if not, putting a thread up asking doesnt necessarily mean you get shit advice because it would be corrected by the people that do know.
