Hey, I bought this to turn into my new drift car but then i got an e39 540 so this needs to go. had originally planned to add a 4.0 v8 and make a drift machine with around 300bhp and the same torque. Any one who has tried to find one of these manual boxes will know they dont come up very often and off the car are worth between 400-600 with the clutch fly wheel and prop. The car is an M reg facelift e34 saloon. The body work is in good condition for a car of this age and is solid underneath. it has a very good condition Black Manual leather sports interior which i had planned to sell for around 350. It was owned by a friend of mines who only did 1 drift day in it as he is a little bit gay then by me and i havent even done a skid in it which i suppose makes me gayer. anyway i digress. The previous owner added straight pipes instead of a back box so now it sounds insane. like a proper V8 should sound. Vid of noise below. He also took the car to chizfab to get his drive in drive out welded diff service and fresh diff oil. There is some service history with the car and some old MOTs. It is Mot till Apr and has just had 6 months tax added. the only other mods are some stickers and a laguna front splitter. This will be a great skid car for someone and could be awesome with the addition of a 4.0 V8 or it could be a great daily drifter. have seen/heard this car at crail and the marshals actually told him to go to the back of the track as it sounded to nuts to be at the front !!!
Are you interested in a px with my r32 skyline, I'm on my phone so can't post the link up, search for my posts to find it if you want to see it. Cheers mate, dale.
Totally off topic (sorry Jeek) But Dale, whats your 120d like on fuel ?? I know what BMW reckon, but whats it actually do in the real world, and is it chipped (going from your sig) ?? Cheers. J Consider this a lengthy bump !!
Mpg is usually around 40ish, I have a heavy foot though, my mum has a 120d to, hers is usually around the 50 mark. I went to Amsterdam a few weeks ago and got there and back on £85 of fuel, averaging 130mph most the way, it 900 miles round trip. And no it's not chipped yet and it's as quick as a sti impreza up to about 110mph
WOW!!! that sounds like god i need to make my 840 sound like that, think i'll be chopping pipes at work tomoz
Would you be interested in a tidy standard e36 325i coupe? I think its on 128k? No mot or tax, but its done like 4k since it last got mot'ed and in that time its been treated to lots of goodies, i see no reason at all it wouldnt fly through the mot. i just didnt wanna mot it because i was going travelling. It might be a bit easier for you to shift... My brothers gonna use it but i get the feeling he'd much rather use the 5 (he's obsessed with owning a loud 540, so this'll do)
pics ect are in the for sale thread here: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/mis...63-2-4-hilux-surf-perfect-tow-car-2000-a.html
Yeah mate id be interested in a PX im looking for a cheap 325 just now to be honest! Really depends on what you value a 325 with no tax and MOT at!
sorry to have messed you about mate, spoke to my bro and he's not interested (well, he would be, but he figured straight pipes might not be ideal whilst he's living with parents and he knows my cars not gonna let him down), figured he'd have jumped at the chance. his loss i guess! I'd be all over it if i was in the uk! Sorry mate, anyways, enjoy your bump, its an awesome car, i've wanted it ever since i saw the with the epic noises!
