Carrying on from the "Worlds greatest garages" thread...

What would be your ideal garage and why ??

It doesnt have to be one of every supercar or 15 hachis in every colour I could think of, in order to have something rediculous, just what would you love to have and what are the reasons for that.I'll start with my "Invented the worlds greatest dildo and got £1million upfront from the distributor to blow on my car fantasy" list !! My idea on heaven whilst not going over the top and having every supercar since a Miura and every Group B car would be:

    Simple stuff:

VW Transporter Sportline to replace my old Vito in towing duties, nice fitted with some Snap on cabs, bit tunes and a dozen rims on a rack !!
My Land rover with all its issues sorted for green laning, its good enough !!
My 535d Touring as its simply the best car in the real world, although I would get the DMS remap that I still havent got round too and some 20" HRE's or something
New Shape Audi TT for Kaz as her Sports a couple of years old now and she likes these as daily drivers
E30 convertible with 4.4 V8 conversion, M3 panels, midnight purple paint and cream leather as the summer cruiser you dont mind leaving in Asda !!
Nice Military Spec Unimog 2100 for when the Landy simply couldnt cut it !! Vertical stacks, aircon, decent interior, and chevrons on niceish rims.

    Japanese stuff:

The Orange, but working !! still love my car, which I know is sad !!
Tommi Mak with 2.4stroker, GT35 and bits for Kaz as she absolutely loves em, in fact Im not allowed an Evo for myself !!
R32 GTR with HKS 2.8, To4z and about 680bhp and a Hollinger as frankly thats perfect for road and is nice and revvy
R34 GTR with forged RB30, twin GT3076's, OSG2 box and would purely be for extreme use and the odd drag
34 Fronted Stagea with VH45de stroked to 5.0 with pair of GT35R's for uber 1200bhp and still retain quick spooling and driveability as track/drift/stupid car, custom interior and cage for 4 race seats, widearch kit and other bits :D :D
A Hakosuka in Millenium Jade for showing off at Skyline meets, alongside a grey Kenmari, both would have simple RB30s running To4z and circa 600bhp as I cant be ahsed with all that original engine bollox, and carbs pish me off !!

    Exotic stuff:

Murcielago Spyder in Orancio for summer because I love them
F430 Spyder in Red for summer as Kaz loves them
1969 Camaro SS with Nelson Racing 572 BBC billet engine, twin 100mm turbos and all the trimmings for a nice easy 1500bhp, mini tubbed, converted to coilovers, with a Tremec box, 18" american mags, C6 interior and some banging tunes, because frankly it'll never notice the weight !!

And finally my three favoruite cars which I can never decide which I like the most...

288GTO in Red of course, probably the best looking car ever made in my eyes
Bugatti EB110SS in silver as these were simply the most awesome thing in their day, just as the Veyron is now, and to say you have quad turbos must be quite a buzz
RS200 as Im basically a Ford man at heart, this is pretty much the pinnacle car (or could have been) in Group B with was the pinnacle era of what I consider the pinnacle sport, besides, just look at it, other than maybe a Stratos it looks like its fell off another planet !! White, 2.1Evo2 spec engine, with some modern bits and Julian Godfreys spannering would do me just fine !!

    Bikewise it would be:

    RRN in Black/Purple
    RRX anniversary in Blue/White
    Evoblade in Red/White
And an RR9 in Repsol as mentioned in the other thread because I love Fireblades.
An 1198s for high days when its nice to say you gotta Duke
    R6 for Kaz as she's a shortahse
And Steve Taylor's TechnoRod to polish and sit on as I still cant believe it hasnt sold for £18k yet !!

Realistically this lot would be what a million in cash could buy you today.

I could expand this to include alot more cars that I would truly love to own from simple things such as RS500 or RS2000 Mk1 with cossie lump upto F40, F50, F60, Miura, Diablo Roadster etc etc but frankly I will probably never see a million quid unless a few pieces of luck finally come my way and hence dreaming of what to do with 5 million is even more pointless !!

Im lucky in that I own a couple of cars on my list, am working my way towards another couple and perhaps in a year or two will have a couple more, but thats about where reality will stop and fantasy begins for me, so lets see what you guys would do, why and how it references with your lives, and nobodys gonna rip the pish if you say you really want a brown mk4 cortina with a pinto :D (much)

    :D :D

    Here we go!

Like bladey I don't need a million different versions of some S body in all the colours of the rainbow and backwards.

    Japanese stuff:
JZX100 skid mobile, 19'' uber pimp wheels, blacked out with red leather bucket seats, rear seats covered in red leather, tinted windows...Basically a very pimp skidcar!
    S13 S1 mobile, fairly mild with 260-300ish bhp SR20
R33 GTR, RB31 and twin HKS 2835s. Anti lag
R34 GTR, carbon shell, VH45de with twin GT30s, 4wd, dry sumped, anti lag... the lot race car

    Exotic stuff:

Ferrari 550 (WSR if I can find one...only 34 made, all grigio titanio, bordeaux interior, FHP handeling pack and OMP rollbar)
    Ferrari F40, 2 bar and tubi:wack:
Ferrari F50, J-wolff exhaust and ECU retune for uber powers
Enzo Ferrari, although with edo engine:)
Carrera GT, ITB's and inconel exhaust!
Lamborghini diablo GT, last of the REAL lamborghini's!
LP670 SV, likely the last lamborghini with a 6 speed:(.
Pagani Zonda F CS roadster *forgot this one! HOW? it's my favourite car!

    other cool stuff
Slightly jacked up supercharged bright yellow with black Hummer H2 (tow wagon), covered in greenpeace stickers
Cigarette 42x, twin 1075CSi's (basically 9 liter V8's with twin quad rotor superchargers:D)...Or if I'm really minted a Cigarette Marauder 50', with triple 1075s

At my second home in cali I would have:
    LP640 roadster
    Enzo
    F40

*Haven't added quite a few cars such as the 288 GTO, Miura SV, countach etc etc because of the simple fact I wouldn't fit in them and I wouldn't buy a car just for show.

Those, yes. Trouble is I feel massively self concious in anything super expensive (I've spent some happy days in a F360, ruined by being flipped off by random people and getting hassled at petrol stations)

So my having-fun-and-keeping-it-real fleet would be:

my BDC MX5, but nice. All the damaged fixed and shit. And maybe with a stupid engine swap, just for cheating powers (Damn you Jamie).

Elise Sport 160, silver with gunmetal wheels, Exige seats and a petty bar instead of passengers.

Alfa SZ (the good kind of ugly, and maybe weird enough not to look expensive).

R32 all SR20'd and RWD but looking like a GTR, in gunmetal.

Some kind of huge engined 5-series for the three days a year I need to carry more than one person. E34 M5 would be perfect.

Evora 124 for buggering off to the 'ring and back for a few laps away from the more hateful bits of Britain.

RX7 FD, silver, no spoiler, white wheels. Prettiest car to come out of Japan. This is the one to have on a turn table in the living room of my dream house.

Exige Scura for some super skills drifting.

I used to want an NSX, but the Evora kind of has that covered now.

    Bikes:
ZX7RR (my dream bike for ten years)
RVF750 (not as pretty as the 400 but the right size for me to ride)
Some kind of home built supermoto - huge ground clearance and massive slicks.

I've been lucky enough to have a go in/on most of my dream fleet. I don't think I'd miss the 288, but then I'm the kind of idiot who giggles his head off in a 100 quid E30 banger - I'm easily pleased.

I'll keep my JZX90 MarkII, but the engine will be modded to a bit more horses than the 500 she has now.

    As extra's:

    - Hakosuka in black, on black Watanabes
    - AE86, decked on 14" SSR's, 4AGE on ITB's and bike carbs
    - Daihatsu Copen in black (for my girl)
    - JZX100 MarkII in black on 19" SSR Vienna's (as my daily)
    - RX7 FD3S in black, Vertex kit, on chrome wiiiiide Bee*R wheels. Streetported single T04Z turbo'd. Bride seats, Takata harnesses, Full rollcage, but with full interior :)

    That's probably it for now.

Yep, Alfa SZ would be on my expanded "Oh wow, my uncle was an oil baron and had no kids" list !!!

And how could I have forgotten the NSX, I'll have a carbon bodied SuperGT with the Toda engine and legalised for road use please !! One of the few times I think I would want to stick with N/A !!

    :D :D

For offroading, you win hands down. Being a pikey fuckwit however..... There's no quicker way of getting out of a busy Ikea/Tesco etc car park on a sunday afternoon, than if you're driving something that looks like it cost less than the average shoppers shirt :D

My dad used to have one of these when they where new...
He's had plenty of other cars, including the newer 7 series. I LOVED the e38 though, it was the tits.

I recon with very subtle mods (modern wheels, front lights bit clearer and rear lights brighter red) it'll look like a very new car too...

When i first read Bladeys post up the top i was more than expecting to see 99.9% of people slating him for having so much free time, although if i'm honest, i've got a spare couple of minutes now.. in fact.. 5 free minutes.. i'll allow myself (just for 5 minutes) to think about my dream garage. I'm good to myself aren't i??

Most stuff is Jap, but hell.. i'm a JDM man

    Simple Stuff (Dailys)
    - S15 (Pewter Grey with full factory Aero Kit - with mild engine mods and standard interior to keep things reliable)
    - A Tank AKA Range Rover Sport (Black with Blacked out Windows) purely for shopping and picking the kids up from school
    - VXR8/Monaro for when i feel like wasting some fuel
    - BMW E36 Touring Brand New OEM because they look the bollocks
    - Nissan GTR
    - BMW M5

    Jap Stuff
    - S15 (Drift Spec)
    - JZX100 Chaser (Drift Spec)
    - 180SX (Drift)
    - PS13 (Drift)
    - Zenki S14 (Drift)
    - AE86 Trueno Boot (Drift)
    - BMW E36 325i SE (Tramping)
    - DC5 Teg (Time Attack Spec for uber speed)
    - Evo 6 (Time Attack)
    - R32 GTS-t (Drift, with nice bodykit and RB30 and Bee-R Rev limiter for uber dramatic sound effects)
    - R34 GTR (Bayside, for obvious reasons)
    - RX-7 FD (For the hell of it, oh... and the Rotary Powazzzz)

    Exotics
    - Murcielago Spyder
    - Ferrari F40
    - Lambo Countach or Diablo
    - Noble
    Various Other

Fuck... i could sit here all day and list stuff. I'm not a massive Exotic fan (compared to Jap) and to be honest, don't want to kill myself on a bike either. Ideas might be highly unoriginal, but thats me happy!

damn fine thread. However, i'd struggle for a million, my euromillions wishlist is mahoosive and has been well planned out, in times of boredom....

    Drift cars
S197 mustang - with all the shiney bits
    vxr8 - in a v8 supercar stylee,
one of the front engined ferraris, just cos, you can pick used ones up reasonably now...
AE86, in brown, with one of those bike engine v8's, sequential dog box etc.
And heres the biggy, E46 m3 convertible, - with a 4 rotor, dogbox, mental cage etc, 19inch te37's, the whole thing in white painted with skulls and shit (or skate stickers, nose to tail, NO gaps - cos i could afford to go on an ebay sticker splurge)

    track toys
    e39 m5 v8 supercar style jobber
prius/chrysler grand caravan, old ford f350 dually with nascar style spaceframage under the body, complete with some kind of big capacity high revving v8 on itb's, with all the trimmings.
clio 197 with less weight, and more power, and more rollcage.
may as well throw a ken block style subaru/some kind of rallycross big power 4wd thing in there.

    track/road cars
m3 csl - with less interior and more exhaust
f430 scuderia spider - interior is fine, but more exhaust please
    f40 - ditto

    road cars
    bmw 760li
top bolocks rangey, whichever that is...
rangey classic, not bobtailed, cos they look gay, but all the other cool off road tricks done
    lambo diablo with straght pipes
    ferrari f355 ditto
jacked up ford f350, with stacks, swampers, and all the extra bits that make mega/power/smoke, but also it needs to work, it need to seat 6, and take 6 bikes, ANYWHERE
    bowler nemesis
    tvr cerbera, decatted/sports pipes
    tvr sagaris, ditto
911 996, 2wd no turbo, just enhansed for fast road driving.
all the bmw m5's ever, just cos
all the bmw m3's ever, just cos

To rock about my land with (basically carting bikes up and down my private whistler style courses, i think a couple of jacked up old ford/dodge trucks that you can squeese 8 into and loads of bikes would do the trick. complete with deep rutted track to send them back down once i'm up to the top, and have unloaded my bikes.
