Does anyone who owns an AE86 Trueno or has lots of pictures please post them up please? I'm currently doing a 3D project on one and want some close-ups. Not that I'm any good at 3D or the car will be THAT detailed, just certain angles I can't seem to find pictures of. Need close up of front head on and at an angle, lights up, above view and rear view if poss. Car can be cosmetically modified. Yes, I am new to the boards, would love an AE86 project car one day. If anyone wants to take me for a spin in a Hachiroku and lives Hertfordshire/Essex way, let me know. Would be awesome!!! Cheers folks!
I have loads of images of ae86's from around the world etc but only close up ones that your after of a ae86 2 door levin.
I'm guessing youve googled!! If not.............. http://images.google.co.uk/images?c...cial_s&hl=en&q=AE86+Trueno&btnG=Search+Images ATB Rich
Cheers for the quick replies. I have googled and I have quite a few pictures, but nothing in high res. The blueprints I'm using are bloody useless!!! So need good reference material. I'll make sure to post up the final model for you to criticise. Should hopefully look something like the quality of 3d model they use in the Initial D cartoons, if not, better! Well I hope.
i have loads of my car, will post a few up for you {} {} {} {} {} {} there are more pictures here are the links to them they are all in sperate folders, just have a rake around for what you are looking for http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/yaffa99/my replacemtn 86/ http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/yaffa99/ae86/
That's my new favourite '86. Absolutely stunning. Looks like a mint example of the car while still having a modded edge to it. Very, very tidy.
Good evening guys. Thanks very much for the pictures Andy and the PM's. That would be great Dave. Here's my progress so far, not done TOO much and tried NOT to spend too much attention to detail at the moment. As I said the blueprints I'm using aren't brilliant so having to use a lot of reference material. It's just wireframe at the moment and unsmoothed. Just spent ages trying to get the spoiler looking straight (I assume I'm attempting a TRD spoiler there??) Any other 3D people out there? I'll keep you guys posted on the progress.
Been working on it quite a bit this evening. I realise it's quite 'bubbly' at the moment, but that's because of the smooth modifier. Will need to get it looking more 'edgy' but that's how it is thus far.
Cool job mate! Wish I had the qualifications/expertise to work for a games developer. Anyway here's a couple of updated screens. Not done much progress but as you can see need some work on the arches, but it's getting there! p.s. Can an admin move this to the appropriate forum? Cheers.
nice work...needs work though. keep an eye on the bumper lines. i can relate as an artist. but computer shit is beyond me.
What this one, hahaha you cheeky fuck! (this was done 4 years ago I hasten to add and is completely naff!!!!): {}
