Well its been a while since i posted on this thread... Like New years eve was the last time...

Suspension collected as previous posts, thank you Will.

In the mean time i found time to spend a little time in the garage and fit a few parts.

If you trawl back a few pages you'll see these which i had made -

    Bump steer arms

    IMG00037-20090703-1223.

    IMG00038-20090703-1225.

I Also fitted this new clutch slave cylinder, i did re-con the old one and fit that, however due to the bell housing being different to the original, the bleed nipple caught on the steering column.

    (Shit quality pic i know)

    IMG00041-20090711-1711.

I also moved the flexi pipe as the original went around the houses.

Also been doing a few other bits, those little jobs that take up loads of time, at least i've done something.

Need to look into fuel lines, they are in place but i can't make up my mine whether to change the delivery line for a braided version to go front to rear.

    Holy thread revival bat man...

I've finally had a few hours to myself so instead of wasting my time on the xbox or other things i spent a few ours in the garage.

I'm like most and don't have the funds to splash out on expensive Corolla parts so after weighing up my options regarding adjustable TCA's i went down the DIY route. I did have a pair of NCRCA's but after working out the geometry and decided they are a bad option.

I don't won't rose jointed inner joints as i intend to use the car as on our wonderful roads and like my fillings in my teeth...

So i purchased a pair of these 2 way adjusters which are designed for the good old Ford TCA's.

So to put these to use i removed the near side TCA

    Then out with the hacksaw

I had to add spacers to make the adjusters a tight fit and ultimately square within the arm.

Hey presto one side of the adjuster welded in place.

I then repeated the operation on the outer section, making sure they lined up by placing then in a vice prior to welding.

I placed the arm back on the car to make sure it all fits and drilled an additional hole for the anti roll bar.

Once back on the floor i measured the camber to the best of my abbilty without a camber gauge and it looks like i have gained about 2 - 2.5 deg, plus widening the track by aprox 30mm without altering the steering arc. It has also added a small amount of castor

All i have to do now is find another few hours to take it off, paint it and make another one for the other side...

    Glad your not selling it.
Why youd cage the rear and THEN tub the arches is beyond me.
Do you mean tub the outer wheelhouse so you can run dish?
