Assumption #1. The ecu has been tuned for the other car safely and proved reliable.
Assumption #2. Same MAF, Same injectors and fuel pressure on both engines.
Results : Car will drive great.
One thing though....it uses a MAP sensor.
The ecu came off a car with a decat meaning the turbos will spool a lot quicker and may run at a higher pressure. This will run the map rich on your car as there isn't the air there was on the other car's setup.
Whether or not the Apexi has the same ability to adjust as the OEM ECU I don't know...I imagine it does but I can't be sure.
OP-keep the car off boost and you will fine.
its in with robbie @ trackdayperformance (www.tdp..ie) for a mapping next thursday. he had mapped it originally for the other lad and is probably the no1 mapper in the republic of ireland.
she wont be gettin driven till then but when shes on her way down will be off boost.(will be tough though )
will have to get under it tonight and check to see if the cat is in, its a brand new exhuast system put in before it left japland.
