Fairly productive weekend, got a new starter Friday night, went about fitting it on Saturday, old starter out new one in then spent most of sunday tidying the workshop but managed to get a chance to fit some kouki rep spats need to paint them but they improve the rear end looks I'll paint them tomorrow and get some better pics up
Painted the spats last night, not the best job couple of runs, and need a wet sand etc but look alright, colour match ain't to bad for halfrauds either anyways here are some pics bit of pic whoring there, also have a centre section of the spats but my exhaust is to much of a chode...
import rear bumper and pre facelift front and it would be perfect imo, looks the nuts either way mate keep it up
Cheers dude, I've got a preface lift bumper but I kinda prefer the facelift and lip tbh, really want an import bumper too, it's on a long list of things I want/need for this! Cheers Matt!
Yeah man got a full refund, just had to pay for the return postage which was like £12 or something, I've got another downpipe to fit just need to drill out my spare elbow!
Had a really busy night on the car and made some good progress so here's an update folks. First I went about fitting some jun style bolt on arches I got a while back because my n/s Toyo is down to the chords on the inner edge [emoji35] really pissed about it, I knew the inner edge was getting low due to camber etc but Jesus, doubt I got 1000 miles out of it, which sucks. Anyways had to cut the bottom of the arches off as they go over the skirt and the front extension bit also swapped the front and rear tyres so the car looks like a speed boat atm, just so I can give the toyos some hell before I swap them for some more tyres I've got at work tomorrow. I also dialed out as much camber as possible on the camber plates to stop this happening again and to fill the arches more, as they look wank imo if they're not needed. I also need the car tracked properly, I've done it at work so it drives straight and the steering wheel is straight but the tyre wear is always worse on the n/s also the car has adjustable traction rods which I've never touched. The arches are in primer atm so I'll be painting them tomorrow along with the centre section of my spats. While the primer was drying I started fitting a new exhaust I picked up yesterday, it's a Japspeed system with one silencer on the end, sounds pretty good tbf although my elbow is still blowing it's tits off. I remembered from putting my other zauSt on that on the floor it's about as fun as catching Ebola but it honestly was alright, think it took me longer to get the car on jacked up on 4 wheels than it did to get the old exhaust out and then the new one went on in about 15 mins. No pictures of it on as it was dark and I was tired but here are a few pics off the exhaust I took off. Fooked... I have plans for this bit though...
