Ladies and gents As those who were at the drivers at Teesside we have been asked to provide drifters with cars to offer the drift action at Japfest 2: The Evolution 2011 - The Ultimate High Performance Experience this Sunday at Donington Park. We are offering you the chance to drive the Melbourne Loop section of the track giving passenger rides for the general public. This area of track is that used by Driftworks for their recent backwards entry day. Passenger rides can only be given by those with an FIA seat and full harness as the BDC rules & regs state in the passenger side of your car. Semi Pro drivers, Pro Drivers and Super Pro drivers this will give you the chance to gain valuable track time for free, not only that but you will also be paid for your time and effort. In addition to the passenger rides we are also giving Professional and Super Professional class drivers the chance to drift the whole of the main circuit! FOR AN HOUR! This will clearly mean sending cars out in groups to ensure we have cars on track for the complete hour. We also ask you to bring a spare helmet for your passengers. For full details and the chance to take us up on this offer please contact us by emailing bdc@live.co.uk Many thanks The BDC team.
Mega. I'd love to do that, cant this time but out of curiousity, does the car have to be BDC spec? i.e. an actively competing car/driver?
damn this is a great offer! i would! haha cant wait to get my car i thank you bdc as because of me going to round 3 with my dad he is now addicted to drifting. this lead to him trying to drift roundabouts in his bmw on the way home from teeside witch was rather funny and has also lead to me getting a job at a garrage, my dad giving me permission to buy a rwd car and work on it in my drive and the oppertunity to possibly be sponsored somewhat by the garrage i now work for thankyou!
not free but i might have a pair of gtst driveshafts i can sort you out for a good price, give me a shout
Thanks to you both, but not sure I'd be able to get them up here and fitted in time. I'll get on the scavange and see what i can find up this way. maybe DW/clarkey/someone local has a set. I may have tyres sorted though thanks to some friendly peeps.
