Im not being impatient rick... Me and aston both commented saying we hadn't received an E-mail, so had sent one to the bdc as asked... Hes now received one and I haven't so thoughts I'd say so lol As there's not a full list of drivers up this E-mail is kinda the main thing confirming its all good
Maybe it's just personal then lol xx BDC staff don't check/comment on this much as you can see..... Nope. Will be there supporting my team mate Martin. Also will be offering tips and advice as i'm quite an experienced license day go'er lol
Haha checked your spam folder? Yup using Ross's car. Should be interesting to watch. He pulled of a backwards entry at Snetterton in it the other week. Yeah Lydden is like ice in the wet!
Without bursting your bubble, looked today and its predicted to be the wettest day of the week with most of the rain falling at lunch lol. I was hoping for a dry day too My car looks better in the gravel anyway.... lol Edit: http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Racing/United-Kingdom/Lydden-Circuit.aspx?sday=5 'Our motor sport weather conditions shows Saturday is expected to see the most rain with around 21.0mm or 0.8 inches anticipated.' I the weather mans as wrong as normal!! lol Yup its just full of viagra and 1,000,000 ugandan dollar prizes
I'm doomed!! lol I'm disastrous in the wet in this car.. Oh well least I'll come home with tyres for once from lydden hill
That's not good. If it rains too hard and track gets water logged it would get called off. Ross and Martin did a demo at a mini day there a few months back and this was the case.
its just under an inch of rain, getting heavier from 12 but worst is at like 6. hopefully as long as its windy the track will be usable, be a shame to have it cancelled. Its nearly a week away still, weather man may say its gunna be dry and sunny by then
Same as most guys, I didn't get an email, so emailed bdc and got a reply within 2 hours. Assume they may have taken the email address down wrong. In the email it does say there will be a tyre guy all day
To be fair Ricky that day we did the demo at the mini day it absolutely poured down. Never seen anything like it. It was savage.
Opens at 6.30...Roll call at 8.15 but scrutineering and sign on etc is happening before then apparently. So the earlier the better I expect. I'm aiming to get there for 7.
