right bitches i've been out of action for a while as i decided to get married (half married still have the indian wedding to go). Anyway last week i gave Thomas (Martin) Zurawski the go ahead to start the build again. Looks like he's got cracking:- Wastegates are plumbed in as are all the lines for the turbo. Hopefully not too long now before it can be started up for the first time.
YES! finally back btw, you should atleast put 1 pic up of you and the missus from the wedding, so everyone can feel bad about theirselfs. you guys looked perfect! #nohomo xD
Haha cheers mate, dont think the wife would approve of that. might have to add a couple to the ass or tits thread
yep had to move the power steering stuff, but hey its better than trying to squeeze past a steering column
Apologies for the poor video, blame Martin Richards. The monster is alive and breathing - A41AE7F7-3875-4E2B-8916-0FCB6524B1D6-1276-0000009CD10B4724_zpsf3ff1573.mp4 Video by vinaytaggar | Photobucket Sounds like a rampant V8. Needs the exhaust finishing and a few other bits then of to Greg for mapping.
I heard this running today in the flesh. It's one of the most angry sounding cars I've ever heard. Way better than any RB or JZ. How a stock 325 lump with a turbo can sound like a bloody race engine is beyond me, must be the manifold etc.
Hahaha cheers Stav, pop down tomorrow if you're around would be good to meet you. Thomas is trying to convince me to run the exhaust as it is and to not silence it. Might have to get him to re route the screamer out of the wing as well
Busy today I'm afraid mate. I'd maybe use a diverter valve to run it thru a silencer or straight out like it is at the flick of a switch, as it sounds amazing at mo, and though loud, not unusably loud, heard a lot louder drift cars.
Stav, yep we've discussed using a bypass valve which i think would be a great compromise. I had a specific design that i wanted for the rear of the exhaust so would be good if we can still acheive that
Today i paid a visit to Thomas Zuraswski to check up on the car in its final stages. The work done so far has been amazing considering the obstacles of Matt @ Pure Performance and Gunni @ GS Tuning. Thomas has finally built the car i've always wanted from the start:- Fuel System Some Engine Shots FPR Oil Scavenge Pump Fitting for Oil Catch Can (which will be built out of Aerospace Titanium) Hand built Expansion Tank ChizFab Camber Arms
