Managed to source a 2.8l prop to mate up to the M3 gearbox. Should be fixed up and diff oil refreshed by tonight.
Mate if you want a spare 2.8 prop let me know. I just removed a complete 328 rear axle and fitted a 3.0 prop and Evo rear end. I was just going to give the prop to the local pikey scrap man. PM me.
Simon, thanks its all sorted now but will let you know if i have any need for another. Also looking at changing the springs on the Meister R's are they are too soft at 6kg. looking at 10kg for the front and 12kg at the rear. Any advice on this?
i had 10KG HSD s13 springs on my e36 rear, with Spax adjustable shocks. Drove pretty awesome, and about a million times better then the Vmaxx shit it came on
cheers dex going to aim for 10kg on the front and stick with 8 on the back if i need to i'll go harder on the rear but thats more for a track set up
Haha, because its pretty much rained every day that i've taken it out. I can take videos of it spinning up in every gear but that wont make great viewing. The only video that i do have can be viewed here:- https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151788655937561&set=vb.641557560&type=2&theater

Yep overheating was a simple fix. There was no thermostat fitted so added an 80 degree stat and a higher pressure rad cap. No problems with overheating, will test it at Pod this week but it should hold good
Took the car up to Santa Pod today. This day just didn't want to happan. There were issues late Friday with the new gearbox mating with the Helix clutch. Julian at Garage-D worked until 3am fixing it. Picked the car up and drove to Pod and it rained all the way there. Finally got to pod and realized my ticket was for the 20th not the 9th, they let us through anyway. The realized some of my skid wheels were missing their spigot rings. Finally got some wheels on and took it out to drift in one of the pens. Within minutes there was smoke in the cabin. Took it back to the pit and there was oil on the rocker cover and over the manifold. It had been leaking out of the third chamber. Managed to clamp down the coil pack tight enough to stop it happening but it'll need to be fixed for longer term. The steering wasn't self centering either. After that the car ran like a dream. I realized with the electric steering pump you need to prompt the wheel a lot more and work harder. Once I'd got the hang of it, it was flying. Had 3 runs of the big track and the lock and power is insane. I'm still learning the car and how to drift again so it wasn't perfect but feels so good to be back drifting. Thanks to everyone who came over and paid compliments to the car. Makes it all worth while.
I hope you had several GoPros slapped on it, I think everyone following this wants to see videos of it! (Wouldn't let me view ones on fb)
Unfortunately no go pro footage. A couple of the guys I spoke to said they had some videos so hopefully they'll post them up. I'm back on the 20th so should get some proper videos
The car went back into Garage-D after Saturdays Santa Pod to have its Rocker Cover gasket replaced along with a few bolts that we're missing. Picking it back up today and will start to tidy a few things up.
