Car goes into Garage-D on Thursday to get the turbo replaced and a few other bits and pieces to get it ready for the start of drifting this year. Hopefully it comes back in time for Snetterton

been a while since the last update. Gave the go ahead to Owen Developments to build me a new turbo. Sticking with the GT3071 but this time with metal cage as the old one was plastic and uprated bearings.

Modifying the breather set up further to make it more effective

Sealing up the bulkhead to stop me from getting killed with Carbon Monoxide.

Pressure tested the cooling system and found a couple of small leaks.

I also have some arch extensions on their way over as well so have bought some new front wings and side skirts to start to smarten up the cars appearance.

of course this was the only way it was ever going to happen. I was never going to build and give up or build and sell. I wont stop until its the bets in the country :)

yes i blew the old turbo. It was a used turbo and had plastic cage. I didnt know the mileage it had gone through so wasnt to fussed when it blew. It's given me a chance to make some small tweaks to make the car as reliable as possible.

That is real good power for the size of exhaust housing, bet she spools fast ....... You must be running a fair bit of boost for that power?

1.2 bar max boost and full boost by 3500 revs.

Splitter is called Max Velocity, its fragile as fuck and already battered.
