Noted, will ensure that gets added in as well, could easily utilise some bracing from the radiator protecter bar.
You gotta brace the turbo off something like the engine because the engine will move as it revs. So if you were to brace off the chassis, something would break as the engine/turbo twists and the bracing is holding it still.
all these old bimmer threads make me wish I'd bought one instead of my 46 now wheels look amazing too, what camber will you run?
I'm away on holiday in India until the 6th April so updates will be slow. That being said there are some amazing mountain roads here
Cheers guys. Front tyres are 205 and rears are 235. The manifold built isn't allowing enough oil drain from the turbo so I've asked Gunni at GSTuning to build me one of his super special ones. Will update with pics once I receive them.
Whilst the manifold is still being built thought i would upload some pics of my new clutch. Its a work of art. Helix clutch with solid billet flywheel:- Got a few other bits and pieces like new bumper and deep UCC splitter which i'll take pics of this weekend.
When its finished mate, Gunni had a delay on pipes for the manifold so still waiting for that. Once thats complete the rest is pretty much bolt on.
Right guys time for a bit of an update. After waiting since March for Gunni at GS Tuning to build the manifold it turns out he was only designing it. The design is now complete and it is being built by DI Racing, just spoke to Damien and he seems to be on the ball. Hopefully have the manifold back in a couple of weeks so we can get this thing finished. I reckon my GT86 will arrive before this gets finished. The challenge is on.
In hindsight it mightve been easier/quicker to run a scavenge pump to stop any oil issues on that other fannymould, only about 200quid delivered for a decent one from the USA, but will be awesome once done either way.
