Hi All I am planning on dropping a new engine into my 318is from a donor car. The only query i have is that on the charcoal/carbon canister of the old engine there's a wire connected to it which looks to be for a sensor or something and on the donor engine the canister has no wire or connector for a wire to go. So my question is can i run the canister from the old engine on the donor as obviously its all plumbed in so would be easier to leave it in the car. Any Help would be appreciated Dale
I've just had a look there's no connector for it, so ill use the cannister from the car on the donor engine. Cheers
