looking to get a cheap drifter, have found an e30 but its only the 318. obviusly i will chuck a decent engine in it such as an m3/v8 of some sort, but does the suspension etc differ at all from the sportier models, would i be better off finding a higher spec one to start with?
also any1 know where to find info/parts for these motors.
    thanks

Front struts can be 45mm diameter for 4 pots (except 318iS) instead of 51mm.
Small and medium case diff's too. Not sure on details for these tbh, never had to play with mine!

M-tech suspension is a poss, but just get a lowering kit anyway. Drop me a pm if you have specific q's and I'll answer if I can.
