Hi guys, here we a BMW E36 320i I am breaking. I bought this car as a non runner so I could expand my knowledge of mechanics and at the end of it, have a drift car that I had prepped myself. I got the car running but now a better car for me has came up and now this has to make way. When I received the car, it wouldn't turn over, a new battery later and we had life, but an odd surging in revs... A brand new MAF elbow, inlet manifold seals, and all new air and vac hoses (replaced standard rubber hoses with longer lasting silicone) and the straight 6 is running as it should again. Engine has 156k miles on but was still pulling strong on test runs after it was running again. It is the M50B20 engine, so has the cast iron block, which is pretty much indestructible. Gearbox was still nice and smooth, no rattles, whines, or odd noises that I know of Bodywork, being red and abandoned for around 2 years the paint has faded quite badly in some areas, BUT the panels themselves are still strong straight and rust free, (minus the boot lid and a creased drivers wing) The rear drivers arch also has the inevitable arch crust and has had previous welding repairs, some by myself. Interior, all I have left of this is the dashboard and steering wheel. Everything was stripped and binned, carpets/seats/door cards/seat belts etc. I MAY have some little bits floating around still though. Extra bits! This little lot includes: a stainless Powerflow exhaust from the cat back a set of 15" 5 spoke BMW alloyswith near new tyres, paint is flaking off the wheels though so will need refurbing ideally some random spoiler that was chucked in the car when I bought it, still brand new and unused a front strut brace, could do with sanding down and painting M50B25 Throttle body, slightly enlarged and is a direct fit on the M50B20 engine, little more throttle response for little money! Now for the pictures! Ignore the Go-Fast stripe marks, practical joke : And I do have a replacement drivers side head light! Crystalising you see around the Stat housing is where I replaced the coolant Car is located in Bristol, so collection will be needed for the bigger items, I will courier smaller items at buyers expense. If you see a part you need, make an offer, Ill probably accept it because whatever is left behind in a week or so is going to the scrap yard!
BUMP! Before scrap all panels £10 each engine/box/ancillaries/ecu and loom £175 2 sets of 15" BMW alloys (see pictures) good tread on both £40 each Stainless Exhaust £50 OEM exhaust (brand new backbox, good centre pipes) £25 Diff £25 Spoiler £25 Good condition headlights (perfect drivers side light is in the boot, yet to be fitted) £15 each OFFERS ON EVERYTHING GUYS IT HAS TO GO BEFORE ITS ALL CRUSHED! Would rather help out someone who needs the parts than give them to a pikey for crap money and let them rot in a scrapyard!
Hi mate, I cant pm you for some Reason, but how much do you want for the offside front shock of its still good, I dont need the spring or top mount etc, just the shock, cheers mate
Not too sure mate never had the box off to see, ideally would like the engine/box and all the other bits to go as one though!
