M50 inlet manifolds (originally from the M50B25 engine) have bigger ports than the M52 manifolds. The conversion kit is just a few extra parts that's are required to fit it to this engine.

I guess I just missed the part were it says it is a 323 ? Because an M50b25 is still faster than a 323i with a manifold conversion kit which this is. There are lots more parts involved than just the intake manifold and he is selling it as a 325i.

That's becuase he didn't say it was a 323, says it is a 325 with an M52B25 fitted which is probably just a typing error becuase as "suttin8247" has said you can see the things that show it's an M50.

I guess it is an m50b25TU with the vanos. But I still don't get the manifold conversion thing? Don't all 325i's have that? This is confusing as fuck.

No the engine will be M50B25 if it's the standard engine, so yes the M50 manifold is standard on the 325.

I'm sure Tom will explain all when he's next on here.

It's a 325 car, it's had a m52b25 engine fitted which is from a 323 but has the m50 inlet etc fitted. Not sure what the confusion is really... Not trying to hide anything the engine is the first thing I mentioned in the advert.

Cheers Liam for answering I hadnt seen this so didn't answer quickly lol

    No worries.

Deffinatly worth checking if it is actually an M52 lump though.

It has an M50 rocker cover and an M50 engine wiring loom and as far as I'm aware the M52 won't even run on the M50 loom as some/most of the plugs are different. Worth a double check.

Come on do you think I would have missed that.. Lol It has a metal m50 cover which are better, and loom is an m52.

Just wondered as the M52 loom has the coilpack feed from down near the brake servo not on top of the manifold as the pictures above are showing?
