can you guys get one or know a decent supplier of one?

i want to try an e46 M3 paired with an oem e46 clutch as that seems to be the choice of a few people. apparantly heavier duty clutch and its a straight fit.

but i am getting dificulty finding one cheap!

    any help much appreciated :dw:

We have E36 M3 lightweight flywheels in stock, James and Bon both have them fitted to their cars with extremely good results. They don't fit E46M3 clutches though. Are you saying you want an E46M3 lightweight flywheel to fit to your E36 with an E46 clutch?

cheers for the quick response phil, going by what ive been told on bmw trackzone an e46 flywheel and clutch will fit straight in and is more 'heavy duty' for track/drift use or power increases!

what price and brand are the e36 versions you got?

Hi dude, the E46 clutch and flywheel combo comes from my old car really, I've got a stock 3.2 clutch (same as 3l afaik) and one of our lightweight flywheels now and the clutch is rock solid, no problems. :) E46 is a slight upgrade, but getting rid of the dual mass is the main advantage.

They'll be up in the shop later, they come complete with new 12.9 grade flywheel bolts (shorter ones required than for the dual mass) and 12.9 grade clutch cover bolts too!

is there any benefit in me getting the e46 setup or not? as when i first got into drifting i was told the standard e36 clutch is well up to the job, but my flywheel was suspect when we did the clutch last year, now its fading a bit.

£300 sound about the going rate, will that include free delivery :p

E46 isn't worth it no, I think I was just amazed by how good new OEM clutches were, since I'd driven for ages with an old one combined with dual mass. The dual mass seems to actually promote slipping too. Awesomeness. lol My stock evo clutch has got the man-ness to deal with 245 federals so.... I think I just had a real sucky oem clutch in the original m318i.

Wanna write a review on the flywheel for us? Then we can do free delivery. Retail may end up being a couple of quid more just because the posh bolts are quite expensive, but £300 delivered for one with a nice review would be good. :)
