Decided its time to move on to another car so I'm putting my 540 up for sale.

I originally bought the car thinking I would use it until the shell got tatty and I'd then swap the engine and box into an E30 but the car was and still is super clean and it would be silly to strip it down.

One of the best cars I've ever owned and pretty damn quick

Its a 1998 6 Speed manual 4.4 with just over 101,000 miles on the clock, very clean Individual Hellrot Red paint. Black leather interior and trim. Low mileage and plenty of history to back it up

HSD monotube Coilovers, adjustable top mounts etc.
    All front Bushes are Powerflex
    M5 Anti-roll bars
    SDP Front Strut Brace

    Very clean engine bay
    K&N panel Filter
Ac Schnitzer Stainless Cat-back system adjusted to come out on the left hand side only and not both
I believe the cat's have been opened out aswell (sounds awesome)
Z3 Short shifter, nice sony head unit and apline amplifier tucked away in boot.

    18'' Rondell 0058's in 18x8.5 and 18x10
Welded Diff and Standard spare diff, spare driveshafts

I've change what chrome exterior trim the car had for all Shadowline trim (black) like window surrounds, door strips, Bumper strips, grills.
    M5/sport front bumper

The car as a whole is very clean, there is a small crack in the paint on the bootlid and one small patch of rust on the passengers rear arch which I have taken pictures of both. Other than that theres just the odd small mark and stone chips on the bonnet which have been touched up.

Recently had it MOT'd and the inspector commented on how tight and good everything was underneath! Skids really well and sounds awesome!

10 or 11 months MOT and 6 months Tax.

Considering Spec and condition I'd like £3750 ono.

I can offer the car a little bit cheaper on gunmetal grey style 32's 17x8 and 17x9 instead of the rondells.

    Located in Bromsgrove, West Midlands.

Had some interest in part-x's even though I haven't stated I'd take one.

Only really looking for a manual soarer or e30 with an m50/m52 or m62 conversion

I've got a manual soarer that I'd do a deal on, but probably want too much cash on top...

Silly question (and a free bump) what sort of mpg do you get from this beast?

When I was using it everyday i was getting 24mpg and more on the motorway, now I tend to jump in it at weekends
or in the evening for a blast and it's usually 21-22

I have seen this in the flesh, Adam is very meticulous about every car he has, so has been looked after.

    GLWS mate.
