    Hello Everyone,

Here we have a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking for their next drift car and might not know what to get, or just want to take advantage of an extremely underrated chassis and engine. Over the last year, I have spent plenty of time and money in collecting all the bits needed to turn this car into what would be an awesome car to drive. Fortunately, I have decided that I will be moving back to Australia and want to give someone the chance to take over where I left off. The package will come with everything or nothing, I am not looking to separate all the parts of the car, I want to sell it to someone that will use it for what I intended. If it doesn't sell for what I want I will just ship it home with me. For this reason, I will not split the package as if it doesn't sell I am going to need everything.

Since I purchased the car I have done plenty of upkeep, I have replaced both front wheel hubs and bearings, uprated the front brake lines to braided. It has a brand new water pump and fan coupling as well as that I have just swapped the sump and gasket. The car runs beautifully with one of the best straight 6's from BMW with Twin Vanos that really picks up at 4k. Underneath is a 2.5" stainless system with backbox that sounds amazing.

    The package will include:
    - Complete BMW E39 528I.
    - Sits on a full set of BC Racing Coilovers in perfect condition.
    - Twin Vanos M52TUB28 190hp.
    - 3.47 Welded Diff and Brand New Black series PowerFlex Bushes (with correct prop shaft to swap in)
    - PMC Tunnel Mount Short shifter with UUC Dual Shear Selector Rod and shift joint.
    - R33 Gtr Wheels 17x9 +35 with Kuhmos on the front and Nangkangs on the rear.
    - MOMO Steering wheel.
    - Full set of new front suspension arms.
    - Full set of 17" Michelin part worn tyres.
    - Plenty of other bits and pieces like Low Profile long reach jack, Ratchet sockets and extensions, bushes press kit, jack stands, spanners with flex ratchet rings, and Engine Brace.

The car is in great condition with the exception of obvious 20-year-old age marks, a couple of spots of rust and bonnet has clear peeled. As I have decided that if it doesn't sell I will be exporting it home, I will not be renewing the MOT, the only reason it wouldn't pass is that I have an aftermarket steering wheel and haven't got the airbag light coded out and the rear driver's side door has a fault and doesn't open, and I won't be paying for a full year for a car I am not going to be driving. Because of this, I have a video of me driving to show how it runs because test drives would not be possible, can provide at request. Test drives will be unlikely and at own risk of the driver.

I have added up the time and money I have spent on collecting parts, and also how much I could potentially sell it for in Australia. I would easily get £7.5k for this in Aus so I am in no hurry to sell and I know what I have, I am asking £5000. Based in Salford Manchester.

Please make offers I am fairly negotiable, the highest offer will get it!

The rear left jacking point could use a look, but I have spent a fair bit of time underneath it and all the chassis rails are tip top.

Ambitious pricing, i expected to see sub £2k, genuinely.

Unfortunately, you can't add up time spent collecting bits and money spent on parts and expect to recover those costs....

car is 2k, coilovers are 2k easily, the shifter assembly alone was 600, the wheels were 750 the bushes were 250 the diff and driveshaft were 200. Its a deal for a complete package. You need to look beyond the car and what is included with it, and as i say, I can ship it home and get way more than that, It is only up for someone that might be interested. I am very open to offers.

I am aware that my price seems high, what you are purchasing is convenience. Sure you can buy a car for under 2k, but then you are going to spend time and money ordering parts and waste time in shipping. I have done all the legwork, buy the lot, spend the weekend in the garage go drifting on Monday.

These will be the next drift car of choice, get ahead of the game.

Don't think its worth what I am asking, Give me an offer, safe me the hassle of having to export it.

may be a good option to break it for parts since it has got some good parts on it , put it to stock and sell the car , think this could fetch you most money

you can ask whatever price you want but I d be surprised someone paying 5k for a 2.8 e39 to be honest

Not worth my time I don't want to risk some parts not selling and being stuck with bits for a car I don't have, if it doesn't sell I will want all the bits.

    Mine was one digit out

    39. advice above is good , id take it on board ,

i've put together 5 and a half cars on the e39 platform and , they really don't have a massive following , for drift at least , 5k is manual 540 v8 money for an untidy shell with good parts

you will recoupe more money back quicker selling individually , 100%

at a drift day today out of 70 cars there was one e39 , which was suprising

they really are not ,the next drift car of choice,

sell the parts on facebook market place for the specialist groups , sell the car on ebay or similar

I couldnt give away a 100% mint e39 shell this year , i ended up crushing it.

they do fetch more money in OZ but thats not where you are.

The right person will see the value, I am in no rush to sell, nor do I care if it sells.
