looking at a set of rondell wheels, 18x10 all round, et19 5x120. they are the 0058 style wheels. will this fit ok, and what tyre size is best.

any other ideas for nice wheels on an e39 which dont cost the earth.

    thanks

    Hey mate,

There are no better reasonable cash wheels that 18x10 rondels. but they dont come up very often and you looking at the best part of 600 quid.

remember that E39s have a bigger center bore than all other BMWs so older stuff dont fit without work.

Just reread that 10s all round may be a mission but it would be fucking cool. i had 265/35s on the rear of mine with ti super low and it needed a very subtle roll.

fronts im not so sure prob need 235s stretched but it may tramline quite bad.

    Do IT

ok thanks, i found a brand new set for £595 all in which i didnt think was to bad.
i have an arch roller so can flare the arches without to much hassle, would like to try and avoid stretch as much as possible as its going to be a daily and i want it to drive as nicely as possible.

Brand new for £600!!! Sounds too good to be true.
If they arent 74.1 mm centre bore you will need the centres machined for them to fit and also I think you might struggle with the 10js on the front as they will probably need spacers to stop them fouling the suspension.
You could be mega cool and fit 25mm spacers all round and run some stretch and camber though.

this m5 is running OZ Futura's

i know futura's are silly expensive but its just to give you an idea of the fitment you can run on an e39

    F-18x10 et06 225/40/18
    R-18x12 et00 265/35/18

Tbf there's a lot of arch work going on back there.
Fronts are 14mm lower offset than the rondells (which will give you the clearance needed for the suspension I suspect) and he still has a bit of stretch on the front tyres too.

    Looks good though.

i could make a pair of custom lower wishbones to help clearance, will have to take a look at the bmw suspension setup as im not familiar with with front arm setup.
custom arches etc aint a problem either.

looking at the specs on the front of that m5 the fronts dont seem to fit to bad in the arch? and they are et06. if i made custom suspension arms for a bit of clearance on lock, would they not fit ok in the arch with a bit of a flare

those r the 58 style, although further down the page there are the 81 style which seem to be more expensive even though they have no dish ?
