Mate that bonnet from the magician car is about the coolest thing I've ever seen purchased!
Makes me realise I should probably do/get some cool stuff to mine.

    Ye it's pretty cool man!

Still have a few alignment/ride height issues. Need to cut the front knuckles, another job for my welder when he finally gets round to the exhaust...

Been a while! Mainly because I'd lost interest due to being let down a few times (4 in fact) by the welder to do the exhaust. Moving on I've decided to buy myself a TIG, I've always wanted to learn so no better excuse. Just need the workshops power supply sorting and I can get practicing!

Pulled the front knuckles off this morning ready for cutting/dropping/welding, seemingly if I take stuff in to be welded it gets done....people are weird here.

Random pic' from the other week:

Whilst I've had little interest in the car, wheels have, as ever been bought/sorted.

I had the Model 5's refinished properly:

    Pretty happy with the outcome.

Also bought some Model T7 in 19x10 +15.

My collection is growing, as much as they're filling my workshop up it's not all bad.

Also bought some SXE10 Ganadors to try and fit. Wasn't straight forward but a bit of cutting and they're on:

Hopefully won't be long now, I need to fit parts and weld stuff...not major stuff just need to keep motivated and find time.

    I didn't, I said that's what I told the misses haha.

Thanks dude. Put a proper gauge on it and all was fine, just the dash clocks making it look bad.

    Moving on:

    Cut knuckles and added RCA's

Unfortunately pushed my camber back out causing my arches to be sat on the sidewalls and the DW uppers are maxed.

I hope to have some prototype camber arms sorted next week which will allow me to add more camber. Also dropped the tyre size down to a 225.35 from a 225.40 which I needed to do anyway.

BN bonnet showed up, completely unscathed from its round the world trip (credits to JDM Distro!). Within an hour of opening it I had cleaned all the black spray paint off it where some one had covered the sponsor vinyls.

which then led to unavoidable test fit

I love it, it looks stupid on but still right some how. In a really annoying situation now though, part of me says mount it on a wall, another part says run it and leave it pink and the sensible side says paint the whole car black. Unfortunately the bonnet has taken a hit which has cracked the paint off by the vent, meaning it needs a repair anyway. Shout outs to genuine BN though for being so robust as it still fits like a factory bonnet.

Fuck I don't know about that man, it doesn't even work properly haha. Thanks though!

After putting the front 18x10 Minerva's back on with the 225.35's I thought I'd go for a quick lap of the estate to see how bad the rubbing was and test the difference cutting the knuckles made. Didn't get very far, still rubs and it's retard low up front now causing me to put a nice split in the bumper. I'll just have to wait for these new camber arms to get here now and see if I can run the taller 225.40

Totally understand the "hang it on the wall" thing. It's a car part but also a bit of history too.

Maybe vinyl wrap it white? Then the coolness is preserved.
