Im so confused. Been on driftwork page r.e Kaaz lsd units. According to there fitment table DAN2745 will only fit an auto s15 with viscous diff?

I have just bought a 1998 R34 gtt to replace my trusty old e36. Done the 1st driftday last week and the diff was shi+e, so i need a diff. When ive checked the driftworks fitment table for Kaaz lsd's previously it says it depends on if my r34 has viscous or helical... Helical SAN2610 or viscous SAN2745. I do not kno if i have a viscous or helical diff? Is there an easy way to tell?

Basically can you tell me that this DAN2745 will fit my R34 GTT.

If so, is it a diy job to fit, or is it a job for a specialist who knows about backlash ect...

After looking at the Dw figment table it does look confusing. But this is the official kazz fitment table and shows the dan2745 to fit r34gtt with standard viscous LSD. So think this is the diff you need. ;)

As for fitting they do need fitting correctly and the correct backlash etc setup.

    Hope this helps

You can check if yours is fitted with viscous diff . Usually a sticker on top of diff or somewhere on diff saying viscous

I could setup diff for you if you were closer. But anyone with a bit of knowledge or gearbox specialist should be able to do it for you .
