great work mate the job on the coilovers it's possible on e3xx more people should this instead of disgusting ebay coilovers
Nice project, fun to read! I have a E34 to with M60B40 and 5 speed gearbox , thinking of do to a cheap drifter like yours =), So this was very inspiring Waiting for next update!!
Hi Just had a read through your project some very good fab work. I am in the process of building my e34 drift car and am very interested in the setup you had in your e34. The rear coilovers seem straight forward. The fronts i have a few questions. The sleeve you machined up the coilover fits into i presume this is threaded what size and type of thread did you use or how did you match the htread on the existing coilovers? also is there much adjustment in the front and rear can it go much lower than you have in the photos? I am looking for a low setup. Sorry for all the questions looking forward to your reply.
A lot of time has gone into the country. Last season was great. The car runs very reliably and has only received an update for the cooling system over the winter and the bimmer get a new color. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} Spec '17: Body: - '90 320i E30 Interior: - empty - 2x Carat bucket seats - Schroth belts Drivetrain: - M60B40 swap - China air filter - 5-speed - Welded 3.73 E34 Diff - Radiator in the trunk Suspension / Wheels: - Apex-Performance Coilover 8/6 KG from an 200SX S13 - 5-Lug Conversion (E36/Z4) - E36 Front Brakes / E34 V8 Rear Brakes - 24x 15 inch rims - 24x 16 inch rims - 16x 17inch rims - home made big angle kit Performance: - 286HP / 400NM - About 1100kg Best Regards, ludi
As the ABS mudguards broadened immediately after the first 4 tires in the last drift training, something more robust had to be done: {} {} {} {} Best Regards, ludi
Last weekend we had a little event at the Eurospeedway Lausitzring and we had a lot of fun. We at some OEM Fan for more airflow at the radiator: {} {} {} {} {} {} Best Regards, ludi
Amazing progress and I like your driving. That skid pan is a dream I have pretty much the same car, just a touring body. did you just cut the bodywork to fit those guards or some work is needed in the wheel well? I rolled my fenders as much as I could but tires still rub a lot.
Last Event was great! Car runs perfect and we had a great time with the team. {} {} {} {} {} {} Best Regards, ludi
