    Right,
Well I've been on DW for many years now and never started a project build, so here we go,

After getting my first taste of competitoin driving last year and loving it, I then had shit round three which resulted in me and another driver with bent cars.:(
My plan had been to drift the car into the ground and take all the paint off the rear quarters, I tried to fix it but it was bent beyond repair.
Had another couple of driftdays in it, it was like trying to fight Mike tyson and left me feeling beaten up, but smiling.
So she was executed by a ten man firing squad and left to rot on a pile of Corsas:cry:
SO I needed another Comp car.
Had planned to build another R32 4door to match the daily, but
bored one sunday I was perusing the for sale threads on here and had another look at this,
    http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-cars-sale-private-sales/124036-c34-laurel-rb25de-auto-4x4.html
So I rung Chris SEC drift up and made him a silly offer which he accepted.

    Boom
    It was mine.
So me a Shifty Biscuits went to pick it up
    DSC00522.

    What a sexy beast!

Got to Shiftys work shop, did a burn out!!

Then I turned my attention to chassis and asthetics.

I threw some 18" and a pre-facelift splitter ( which doesn't fit I know) on for the extreme 4X4 look.

    Lowered the front a bit,

Got the rear coilovesr and dropped the rear and the front more.

With it looking a bit better but far from awesome, I cut the dash and temp fitted it.

Positioned the centre console to get an Idea of what I want.
    It's very cossy.

    Fitted a Handbrake

Moddifeid the cable but it's too short, need to modify the original one I think

    Re fitted the centre console

So had to think about power and drive train next. The original plan was to get a crashed R33 GTST and rape it, but I ran out of money hard.
SO had a look around my garage and cobled together an engine plan,
My old RB20de with my Hybrid T28, 300zx AFM, injectors, front mount fuel pump exhaust and map. So was about to start building this becuase I had already sold the RB25de to Shifty. He bought another engine so plan swapped from RB20de+T conversion to RB25de +T.
Samr thing but with different injectors and original loom.
I've seen good power out of these so will be aiming for the 300BHP mark which is easily achevable. Just need to decide the best ECU option, any sugestions?
I think Mega Squrit is the route I'm going down then I can map it myself.

So pulled the Engine and box out

    Got it on the ramp
Removed some crap and dropped the front crossmember

    Then found some hanus corrosion

    Battery acid is a dick!!!

The car had never been under sealed so all the seams had bits of surface rust all over too.

So got busy with the fizzy,
Brushed and sealed all the rot ready for primer

The front Cross member is done aswell but did'nt get any snaps.

I should get the rest of the front rot taken care of and undersealed before next weekend as I need to drop the rear subframe out and clean that.

Going to get cracking with the engine tonight aswell, so should have some good updates soon.

    Cheers for the comments guys,
Yeah 4wd is causing headaches. Might have to modify the Chassis rails to fit The S13 crossmember I want to fit. Much more fabrication than I wanted to do.

Offset is so weak, need to fit spacers and get more pictures up
