Hello guys, so today i took the head of my ca18, i need to say before i continue : i suspected a bad headgasket because i had smoke, i recently changed my turbo, i had a small overheating last time i was driving it, low power, compression test showed : 145-150-145-60 so i did a wet test and the 60->85 which means it isn t the piston rings, my head gasket got 2 dents(that can be felt by hand and it s thinner one one side) on the metal parts on the low comp cyl, i don t have the tools to take out the pistons and check the leaks. Do you guys think it is the headgasket?
Any visible signs or blow by or fluid transfers?? Normally you'll see some off/dark coloured spots on the gasket/head/block Failing that has the head been pressure tested?
