First post, sorry if I'm breaking rules or not posting in the right place. So my s13 is at the fan shop right now and reading the FD rule book it says the rear bars need to attach to the chassis/unibody. Now is welding in a strut bar and attaching the rear bars to the strut bar legal? That is my main question. Feel free to comment on the cage as a whole. What series are you planning on competing in? A lot of series require boxes rather than plates under the 4 legs of the cage. Also most regs require the c pillar bars to drop down onto the car not onto another bar that's welded across the turrets
