Up for sale is my Mk1 mx5, purchased from my boss at driftworks after its use as a demo car and the wife's run about when not using the family car. I am only selling it as i found a turbo'd mx5 with some tidy mods quite soon after it. Specs / Modifications Eunos 1600 strut brace and chassis bracing vented headlight cover Rokkor fully adjustable coilovers Rota Grid-v's in bronze (15 v 7 et12 i believe) Toyo Proxies 195/50/15 front Eagle F1's 195/50/15 rear Clear indicators Front splitter aftermarket stereo custom shifter (can supply stock one if you wish) Richbrook steering wheel Momo boss sleepy eye switch Leather seats im sure theres more but mind blank atm Overview /issues: It's fairly tidy overall but its far from perfect. There's the usual marks and chips associated with daily use on the front etc and some rust has started on one of the rear arches that has been covered for now but will ned a proper fix if your fussy and not using it as a cheap runabout or a drift/track car. The gearbox is a little noisy on overun, but that's very common There is some cam cover damage, a front corner is missing.. this was due to a front cover bolt coming loose, but that's all been totally fixed and re-done with brand new belt, tensioner and waterpump and its been run for a month without issue. If anything its a handy inspection hole The leather is pretty worn but very comfy The radio cage needs to be held in properly.. currently its loose The rear window is split. It doesn't leak even in intense rain due to the layers of tape lol.. certainly not enough to be concerned anyway. But brings the overall look down a lot so could do with being replaced. I'm being as honest as i can... I hope i'm actually explaining it to be worse than it is.. but the engine is strong and its great on fuel and would make a great cheap fun winter runabout or as a basis for a budget drifter. Comes with a bit of history including last few mots and a drabs of reciepts etc. Most work being done in house at the driftworks workshop. Location: Driftworks HQ, Birmingham Price options: £1500ono and will come with 6months tax (car is currently declared sorn as ran out 30th sept) and 6months MOT and any additional spares £1400ono as it stands with 6months MOT and SORN.

had some silly offers but nothing concrete as yet. in order to free up some cash for following weekend I'm happy to take £1200 as it is.
am i really going to make that much of a loss on this? no market for basic setups with recent full service.. rather than jsut the adverts saying so with no proof? offers i guess
cheers. shame the car market is fooked atm.. even been entertaining two offers of around £1k! which is mega cheap. The wheels alone are 550+ and not a scratch on them... then thers the tyres , the coils, the wheel, the clear indicators, the splitter.. basically getting an engine free!
also should mention i am willing to do a deal including my hardtop for those concerned about the rear window.
