    hi guys

looking to sqeeze a cummins into an ls430 or wagon mercedes as a drift project, first of all is this crazy??? anyone ive mentioned this to think im insane haha.

also does anyone know what would suit better, the 4bt or the 6bt??? cutting or fitting is not an issue as I am qualified to engineers report my work so difficulty and extra work is no problem, wouldn't be fun if it just bolted in anyways ha

what vehicles have them in the European market??

    what gearboxes can I use??

what can I do to make more power especially torque??

and most importantly will it make a decent drift platform, doesn't have to be idc spec but good enough to go on track

Didn't a guy fit a cummins to a defender lately? Have a look for that.

The 6bt is far better to tune and will be a hell of a lot better although I'm pretty sure it's nearly a meter tall, I'm pretty certain the zf gearbox is what is normally mated up to them in trucks. I don't know much about the 4bt but there's got to be better 4 cylinder options.
The actual size of the engine will make it hard to fit into cars, it may seem like a cool thing to do but the reality is theres better options.

Wasn't there some Canucs who put a 4bt into an MX5? Vids are on YT i think

The build is on there but not a lot of actual drifting, but it did make it to the track

If you're thinking of being the next Blacksmoke Racing then more power to you. The world needs more proper diesel drift cars

What the guy above said ^. That or the bmw 3.0 (M57 i think?).

Strong enough for what you want, strong gearboxes and easier to package
