anyone got some insider knowledge on the best seat or which part of the track they will be using. Naturally i thought 'ah. the most expensive seats.. the best view..' however at rockingham the big fancy grandstand was not the best and infact it was the uncovered seats by the corner. Any help on tickets for the d1 event will be appreciated. Just want the best view for the best event ever!!!!

    Wow.. :D

Also, does anyone know how much the seats are going to cost?

Interesting pricing atrategy, advance booking only, stands were included in general admission on FIA GT day.

Cant think where covered standing would be exactly - sounds good idea to me.

Looks like there are some new areas under interactive maps - coming soon it says!

Could ring them up I guess 08704 588290

I think Autoglym Championship competitors should be allowed VIP stylee or something should be sorted which gives us some lime light on the day, cos it is the hard work and money we have spent from all of us that has brought on this event to be honest. But thats my biased opinion. :D

You have to remember that The D1 corp have no ties with the Autoglym championship. in fact you might be better off if you deny all knowledge of the autoglym championship :p

Thats what I thought. D1 over there aren't such fans of D1 over here ;) for many good reasons  Best to pretend you've never heard of it in my opinion as well.

LOL, what I was trying to say is, it would be nice to be in the pitlane etc. I don't mind paying the admission fee it will be worth the £25 or what ever it is to be down there.

You have to learn to walk before you can run, the Japanese are running ahead but I do think the top UK Pro's are definitely walking, us Clubmans are just about crawling. We've all got to start somewhere, the Japanese are years ahead, they have loads of venues/practices, nice mountains, but they all learned to drive a car normally at one time. :)

Actually, I think you will find the D1 corp were most accomodating, it was OPT that made the massive error of judgement, in several matters. Just my opinion of course.

Its got to be the complex drifted last year in the UKD1. Unless there building some stands for this event. I doubt that.

Im guessing the covered seating will be the grandstand used for last years UKD1 at priory. The covered standing will be the stands outside luffield that never seem to have seats in for any event other then the grand prix. The general admission basically concerete area the round the outside of luffield and woodcote. may be the outside of priory.

Personally im going to be close to the action and take some photos so the general adminsion will suit me as I can move around, but then again this is October at silverstone we're talking about so being in the dry could be handy!
