50quid a night ? wtf! I'll get me some bed&breakfest or something then Oh and impressive drivers & car list!
rite folks, if i fly into luton airport whats best way to silverstone? i need help from u locals, lol
Chris. National Express http://www.nationalexpress.com/home/hp.cfm run a coach service from Luton Airport to Milton Keynes Bus Station. Seems tricky to get from Milton Keynes to Silverstone. Have found some bus routes but they appear to not run on a Sunday. http://www.silverstone-circuit.co.uk/additionalinformation/directions.htm Hope this helps a bit. Glen
HI guys, I'm new to driftworks, glad to see loads of you/us are going to silverstone exhibition round be good to meet you all.
@ lsd, are u renting car from b'g=ham or is there train to nearby silverstone? i was thinking of flying into luton
surely it would be easier to fly into East Midlands Airport than Birmingham...? Then its just M1 to J15a then A43 all the way there??? Its about 63miles but an easy run!
does anyone know when they open the event at the day? As we (some mates and I) plan to come over for it from Switzerland - probably getting in at Luton Airport as well - would be nice if we could arrange something to get there as we're obviously not the only ones... (did you come to a conclusion alread cruisin_chris) just found out the only early flight on sunday to Luton would cost me double the late on saturday - so where's best to stay and having some fun ? any info well appreciated Cheers Bean
how about group traveling - guess we'll be able to save some cash that way as there's more than one of us
we will probably jump in taxi or use the 'good ol public transport' lol, i dont care aslong as i get there to see the D1 Jap drivers
I Still don't know where we'll be staying over the weekend, are there any of those 'bed & breakfast' things around silverstone ? Or a cheap hotel somewhere? I'm not from the UK, and i've got no idea where to look on the internet for some accomodation... anyone? =)
