Yes it is possible to do that, All you need is a longer locating bolt for the axle to lock in to (as this goes throuh all the leaves in the spring and holds them all together) then you have the guides that run at the end of the overload spring (the one closest to the axle) you might have to lengthen this or make a new one to cover all the leaves to stop them rotating. The other option if you want to make the suspention stiffer is to remove the 2nd leaf down and replace it with the spring above the overload from the second set You can then just play with spring rated by adding or removing leaves from the spring pack untill you are happy with the results Jono
How do you mean doubleing up do you mean packing out the existing springs with more leaves? if so be aware that the leaves are usualy mounted by the top spring through bushes at either end. If you are adding more leaves then you are going to increase the load intensity at these mounts. Would just make sure that this top spring is still in good condition and not too corroded.
