Also HUGE thanks to Martin, who made us some wheel studs for the massive Winters rear axle that allow us to use normal M12 wheel nuts without the need for huge clearance in the wheels. They are posh! and as they are about to disappear never to be seen again, some posh photos from Rich were in order!
more than one year... i wont believe my eyes you put a massive american v8 nascar in a crappy 86 shell!!! damn will it drift since is a short wheel base car with massive power ... hell yeah awesome hope to see it in 2014
I got the rear hatch mounted, and James got stuck into the rear window today. He loves a bit of routing! And after we spent an age drilling and mounting the naca ducts, here's the end result (or nearly. We still need the rubber trim on the rad shroud where it meets the window)
What are these long bolts on the rear window for? also could you tell us where you found thoses naca ducts please? awesome job!
They are Cleco temporary rivets. Very handy for this type of stuff. The Naca ducts are from plastics4performance. They are surprisingly expensive.
After a load more work, Craig got the car off the ramp yesterday. I've got a few more pictures to sort out of the work we've done recently, but here's the car sitting on it's feet, just begging for it's overfenders and bumpers so we can really appreciate just how low it is!
Here's a crappy iphone vid from the dyno at Protuner the other day. Greg ran in the new motor and this is a run up to 6900rpm after we changed the oil. It will eventually be run up to 7.4k rpm, but we want to put a few more miles on it first.
