Awesome day today had load of track time no hiccups with car the v8 engine is going strong had some awesome twinning with the 1jz 14a and my mates white 14a can't wait for next one
Best weather this year! Shame my heater matrix hose split on my second pen session. Finished my day off early. Was good to see other having fun, and thanks to those who tried to help me today.
Excellent day.... loads ah fun.. big thanks to rude boi lex for the crash course on the top track n how to speak the queens English... top bloke! Also met loads of friendly faces who welcomed me like part of the family. See you all next time
had a great day, learnt a lot today my car had a coolant wee, a diff poo and the exhaust fell off its hangers about a million times. apart from that had a great day! nice to meet some new people too
Shared the day with Mrs driving her E36. I'd never drifted a BM before, and a 325 engine with 200k on the clock and a long as fuck 328 diff wasn't an ideal combo, but was decent fun. Nice weather too. Shame a couple cars got smashed up good, but that's drifting for you.
was a great day and great weather, shame my s14a drifted into the top corner pothole and bent my tie rod when doing 3 rd gear skid =( end my day early but met a few friends and saw my old BM still going Stavros I put a 316 diff in when I had the car and it was capable to do 3rd gear skid in pod, but heard Thomas changed the diff to 328 lol
Ken- He gave me another welded diff, 316/318 I dunno, maybe it's that one? It's not a straight swap I don't think though? It still skids ok though...
You need the rear half prop and drive shafts of 316/318/320 to fit the small case diff, but I am happy its still going strong at nearly 200k lol
3rd was do-able in a lowly 323, with the same ratio. Just not consistently as the pic proves No biggie. Had years of fun in that car
Few pics from DWYB here in my DWYB 2013 thread. We managed to capture our best set of photos of the year, plenty with smoke! Ian.
