The more you go the better you get at avoiding them, dont think I hit one of the heavy ones. My dad came with me, and he gets chronic back pain, so i was being as smooth as I could lol.
Glad people had fun on the day. Was parched by the end of the day. The sun was quite the surprise, kept people in the pits for a nice healthy rotation queue at the top track. Was nice to meet some new faces and of course see regulars. To the gentleman enquiring about the black and purple MX-5, his name is Robin. Don't have his number though. Was nice to kick mine out a bit in the afternoon and pleased to give some passenger rides out. See everyone at the 18th.
My car has a few knock going on since the drift day, that 3rd gear bend at speed sideways really does the cars no good with the holes/dips in the tarmac. It was a fun day though. I did see if i had decent photos but got bored wating in a que so need to look into that. There was another photographer that took pictures of my car and then of people drifting, he did give me his card but cant find it. Do others have his details? I was in the black R33...
This guys took some great pics 200+ , not sure if your in any. Was you in the super clean r33 with the rear wing?
I'd hope so, i was on the main track all day... Thats the one, needs a wash after wednesday now though Also in my excitement i realised i was only running 0.7 bar all day, thought the petrol wasnt as bad as normal lol
Had a great day, fun taking pics in the morning and a bit of drifting in the afternoon. There is a video featuring mostly MX5's but a few other vehicles here: I have photos of most of the drivers who were out in the pens, kidney and big track. Linky. Ian.
