haha, yeah it is pretty epic, this project too :p. People who think this project is slaggy havent seen my Dodge :p
The plan is to let the BMW do the work at track for now. Maybe I'll buy myself a SUPRA MK4 for the next drift project, they seem like VERY capable cars, really like them.

    Halla Thorbjørn!
    Made this movie:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA1PzPjEmrI"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA1PzPjEmrI[/ame]

E30 338i at street 2010 drifting :p We filmed some of all the tramping, and got this movie.

Regarding the car, I'm working with the steering rack. Have grinded 2 new teeth at each side, getting approx 10mm extra lock each side... Hope the lock will be decent now with e36 rack with this mod.

When the rack is finished (almost is), I have to slice up the inner fenders and frame a bit making space for the wheels at new full lock.
I'll start on this work soon, shall try to post some pics.

Pictures in this thread will be visible soon I hope!

    Other plans is:
Roll cage ( safety is important after all)
Roof air intake (?) for getting fresh air into the cabin. :p
    Better engine mounts
Maybe better cooling/ radiator fan (volvo v70?)
    Racing seats/ safety
    Move battery into the trunk
and som other shizzle I dont remember

    some random shizzle:
Pic's from when a good friend of mine and I went to Gatebil Mantorp, sweden:

    He has a nice supra

Which we had some problems with at Mantorp, it kept on misfiring and going on 5 cylinders... We feared we couldnt drive at all...
After quite much problem solving, it boiled down to me the ignition module...
We tested alle the coils first, making new wires etc, but when we discovered it was the ign module, the car occationally went on 6 cyl, then on 5 again... Until we a last time took it off, gave it a couple of knocks and hits and then mounted it... The car worked and it was pedal to the metal and metal to the tarmac after that (1,5 days of shitting with this):

The supra was running original JDM turbos and a chipped ECU, 1,4 bar boost, and WERY strong compared to my E30 shitter..
Very impressed over the 2JZ, its soooooo strong even with original turbos, just pulls and pulls, would SMOKE HARD in 4 gear when you go fast into corners, without even cluch kicking,,,
Weekend ended with a tire explosion and some new zito rims tasting the ground.

Well, must be mentioned we struggled a lot with som quite shitty boost pipes too, hoses coming off all the time, but we solved it by grinding some markes in it making the surface such that the hoses wouldnt come off. All in all a perfect weekend with the most awesome Japane car ever made!!

Then a couple of pics of my E30 at Gatebil Rudskogen:

Tires went to hell here too

And how the car stands now, nothing done to it.

I love the sound of S38. I love the sound of someone kicking the shit out of one too. which appears to be what you are doing all the time.

Thank you very much for comments!
Yes, E30 is capable cars with alot of potential, especially if you go for a M30 /S38 or some kind of turbo engine...
It will be exciting to see how much problems the new steering rack will give me, I will get extra lock and the wheels will crash into frame, anti roll bar, etc... So we'll se how much I have to slice up the car...

316 badge was already fixed when I bought the trunk, :p I think it's OK, everyone look at the car as proper shit, and then I either floor the throttle and go faster than them or I go cluch kick and smoke'm :wack:

At one evening summer 2010, we actually skidded past some Polish guys at the highway in 4'th gear, nearly before tyres was popping, so it came alot of sparks... Was dark too so wonder what they thougt we were doing :p
